 The capital markets are so liquid, despite some of the increase in borrowing costs, that they create wonderful choices for consumer companies like Tommy Hilfiger and J. Crew to go private, ... break themselves into pieces, gobble someone else's pieces or just try to raise money to get bigger.

 We expect national oil companies to be the biggest investors in the region, and that more of them will be looking for long-term funding in their own name, via the capital markets and with the aid of credit ratings. Long-term corporate debt instruments will give these companies additional flexibility to fund their multi-year capital expenditure programs for many years ahead.

 These findings suggest that in addition to the valuation premium from cross-listing and bonding to U.S. capital markets, cross-listed companies that take steps to increase their DR liquidity through improved investor relations and strong corporate governance can achieve even higher valuations.

 We're seeing an increasing amount of capital in the commodities market in general and gold in particular.

 It really does come down to whether the economics profession is right or whether the markets are right, and I really think the markets are building in a huge amount of unnecessary fear. From my own viewpoint, I sit here and I go through the various sectors of the economy and I try to figure out where all this alleged weakness is going to materialize -- and I really can't.

 Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. With all of the development going on in the area, we have seen a huge, huge increase in the amount of traffic at that interchange.
