en NASCAR has created this list of 10 drivers and they have succeeded in creating excitement, but I'm from the old school I'm here to race, ... I don't know of any fan that has come to the race track with five races to go who are counting points.  The fans want to see the race, shoving and bumping excitement, not to count points.

en I've been in this position several times in my career, ... You really can't afford to approach the last race any differently. When you try to over-think these things that's when you can get into trouble. I'm coming into Reno with the same attitude I do at every race. I want to win and that's what I'm going to try to do. en It was good fun. At the beginning of the race, I was saving a little more fuel than both of them, hoping that maybe towards the end and on the third stop there was going to be a yellow on that three-, four-lap difference, then it would have been golden, two laps ahead of everybody. en It's fun , all the media and hype, but we have a nice horse here, and we're going to enjoy the Santa Catalina. I'd like it to be a nice, easy race, not a taxing race.

en For the rookies, I just wanted them to get the feel for what a track meet is like, but Rebecca ran a nice race and picked up some points for the team, which should be encouraging for the future.

en The points we got from Amanda were really big because those were points I wasn't expecting. She ran a great race. I expected the 30 points from the field events and between nine and 12 points from the relays and we got nine, so we did about as well as I expected us to.

en At the end of the race, you are very aware of the position of the guys you are battling with in the points. You know that passing one more car may cut the points a driver gains on you, or even add a few more points separation to those behind you.

en It gives us great momentum. One more race to go. We expected the veterans to lead us here, but it's been the young kids. Still, we'll take it. And I never count Bode Miller out of any race.

en I came to the final round up 80 points and I'm thinking, 'I leave this race up 60 points or up 100 points.' That's huge.
