 We made it very difficult on ourselves with five turnovers. I told the kids we made enough mistakes to lose two football games. But I thought the offensive line played extremely well. Our backs ran hard but had some trouble handling the football. However the effort was there.

Guys are not getting ahead of themselves and they're understanding what's expected of them at every position. It's made everybody's job easier. That's what's made us a better football team.

 We made a mistake on the first play, and when you score on the first play you get momentum going. There's no doubt about that. They did a nice job, there's no question about that. We got some things to work on. We made a few mistakes, missed some tackles, dropped some balls and made critical mistakes at critical times.

 But we've made mistakes before and we'll make mistakes in the future. We're going to do the best thing for our team. Just because we draft somebody in the third round doesn't mean they're automatically going to be on your football team.

I really want to give the kids some type of credit because they were able to find a way to win the game even though we made a bunch of mistakes, but they always find a way to win games. They're a special bunch of guys.
