I hope I never gezegde

 I hope I never get tired of it. It's a lot of work, but it is a really big deal to be Regional champions. People need to appreciate what these guys have done.

 People forget that we're (defending) regional champions. Jasmine has been there, and she comforts them some.

 I think it was a distraction because a lot of people let it be one. If you're a professional and you take pride in your job, you shouldn't let that affect what you do on the field. But I think guys were drained to a point where every day you look on TV and see something going on as far as 81 and Donovan or 81 and the organization. People got tired of looking at it. People on other teams got tired of looking at it.

 Whether I get adequate attention or not, people here do know the work I have been doing systematically and without compromise for over 40 years. I get tired of people making excuses for guys who don't continue the art because they can't make a living.

 Our guys don't feel like they're tired right now. I don't know what the deal is.

 I'm getting a lot of mail from shooting coaches around the country, ... They are banging the door down to come in and work with our guys and talk to our guys, so maybe I'm going to have to interview some people. No, I don't know. It's been our main guys missing. One game, everybody missed them. They're working on it. It's a long season and you hope that eventually we'll catch ourselves and improve.

 It was another typical Western-Central game. Both teams played with a great deal of heart. We just fought and fought, and had guys come up with some huge plays at critical times. I told the guys, those are games champions are made of.

 In the same way I give [United] credit. I hope they can realize why Chelsea are champions, top of the league and I believe will be champions again.

 The guys stepped up and shot well and that is what we need in the playoffs. We hope to shoot well tomorrow in the regional final.

 I don't think it was a fact that guys were giving up, but people were losing hope I think a little bit last year. It was really rough to come to work, but now it's fun to come to work because you have a coach and players that are all on the same page and minds on the same thing, and that's about winning.

 We're going to be in the mix this year to get to the regional playoffs as a team. We've got a great core of guys and the whole group is fun to work with. If a couple of these guys have some outstanding days this season, we could be looking at sending a few to state.

 In the fall of 1999, ... then-mayor John Wright, I, and Betty Feinberg were frustrated by the process. She was tired, I was tired, but we wanted to make things work. And for a time, it did. At some point it stopped working- we can cast blame, but that won't do anybody any good. Right now, we have an agreement before us tonight - I hope you see fit to approve the agreement.

 In my opinion, this is the hardest regional in Class B. There is a lot of talent in this regional, but all we can do is focus on what we can control and that is our performance. All we can do is go out and do our best, and hope our scores are good enough.

 Right now, it's disappointing. Hopefully, when you look back on it -- we were conference champions, district champions, Farmington Invitational champions and Christmas tournament champions -- it was a good year.
