 We've got a lot of new kids, but we're going to be a senior-dominated team. We'll play a lot of kids at a number of different positions and we'll go with the lineup that gives us our best hitting team.

 Looking at their lineup and number of kids they had returning, I knew AG was going to be a good team this year. I think our kids did an outstanding job tonight. We graduated 10 seniors from last year and have some freshmen and sophomores in our lineup. I think they wrestled very well tonight.

 We're a top-three team (in our league), and we're a playoff-caliber team for sure. It just depends on how we play early and if we come together or not. We've got young kids, but there are athletes in all of the positions. They do things right and play well as a team. I feel good about that.

 I think the reason we've won is because the kids are willing to play positions that are good for the team. They've been very unselfish. I've also been blessed with assistant coaches that have done a superior job of getting the kids ready to play each week.

 We were juggling kids around today, and the kids came through. As I said before, we?re going to have a team that?s versatile, that can play lots of other positions.

 They're a totally different team than what we saw last year. Two kids (Novak and Fiske) have really made a great impact on that program. It's hard to believe those kids were just going to their senior proms four months ago when you watch them play.

 I'm such a fan. It's terrific fun to watch these kids; I had a number of them on my 1990 team. It's fun to see how far it's all come and how well the young kids play.

 Last year is behind us, and with this team being senior-dominated like it is, this is those kids' year. I'm the guy who's got to make sure they get there, and I still get excited about that. I couldn't keep doing this if I didn't.

 I think we're a very worthy team. If that's (Ohio State) the number one team in our conference ... You saw a pretty good game out there. We're a team that's improved since the year's gone on. I hope our kids get the chance to play in the NIT.

 I would hope there would be at least three, maybe more. As coaches, we talk about team play, how important it is. This is an opportunity from a league standpoint to show to people - whether it's college kids or high school kids or AAU kids - how important team play really is. It's a very rare opportunity you'd have as a league to maybe put five guys from one team in.

 They were loose kids. I knew our team was ready to play. These kids are really good kids. This is a great group of kids. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. They were loose kids. I knew our team was ready to play. These kids are really good kids.  It was unbelievable. It was extremely intense. The kids knew what needed to be done, and George and I were able to juggle the lineup around. ... The kids stepped up. No one thought we could win in Battle Creek (site of the finals) outside of our team, but the kids knew we could do it.

 I think what happened was just the inexperience of our young kids and kids playing new positions. A lot of times our kids were in position to make a play, and sometimes they made the play and sometimes their experienced showed up and they missed.

 We're going to play a team with a bunch of kids in the lineup and they'll play hard.

 Ricky can play all over and he has been hitting the ball. We always tell the kids that if they hit, we will find a spot in the lineup for them.
