 He needed to pass 24 hours for the year to compete in January and he needed to take 15 hours this fall to do that. It's been a very interesting last couple of weeks ... because Radek was bouncing back and forth on whether he would come back. Finally, I had to make the decision and set a deadline to do what's best for the team, because one player is never more important than the team.

 There isn't a deadline and I don't want to say that it will be done in the next 24 hours or 72 hours. There are so many rumors and speculation floating around -- all I'll say is he is seriously thinking about this. He knows he has to make a decision. And when he comes to that decision he'll say so.

 The kids that were on the state tournament team one year ago got a taste of that kind of competition and they want to go back. It's taken a while, but now everyone on the team has that feeling. The next couple of weeks should be interesting.

 I was terrible my first year. In 10th grade I was still bad, but the team needed someone that small. I knew that I just needed to stay off my back for the team.

 We’re hoping to try and arrange a game for Chris Lumsdon just to try and get him some match practice. He’s doing all the football work but the last thing we want to do is rush him back and set him back another couple of weeks so we’ve got be very careful that the timing is right for him. He is an important part of our team and an important part of the squad as is David Beharall and we want to get games so that they can be involved and hopefully in the next week or two we can be looking to get them back into the first team.

 It would have been easy to send him to Dallas, but he needs to be around the team and around the players, ... He did a great job to come back here. He doesn't find any excuses. He was tired, but he knew he needed to be back with the team. This is the most important thing.

 We kept a log on who called us back or faxed us back and asked them a couple of questions ... We feel we have a good working relationship with the media during the daytime hours but we're trying to get a handle on their after-hours systems if we had to send out a fax.

 Tyler will bring a much needed physical element to our team. He's as excited to win the ball back as he is to score a goal. Tyler is a dedicated versatile player whose work ethic and attitude would make any team better.

 His desire to do whatever was needed for our team to win (was special). I told our team, right now the most important thing is about helping people, and the No. 1 thing we can do is, for a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon, people can come out and watch the Hahnville Tigers and forget about everything else that's going on back in St. Charles Parish.

 They can make a determination if they want to go to the high school and follow up (on a player). You can do two weeks worth of work in a couple of hours.

 If we had brought back the exact same group we had last year, I think the results would be good, but we needed more talent, ... We built the team around Shaquille that's a now team. We want to get it done as quick as we can. This is by far the best team that I've been around since the ones that I coached in Los Angeles.

 He's the leader of the team. He came back with a different attitude to make our team better. It's working. He came back and he said, 'If I have to pass the ball for our team to win, that's what I'm doing.' He's still going out there and making plays for his team.
