 I don't know what we could do strategically or tactically different. I thought overall both teams pitched extremely well, it's just a matter of figuring ourselves out offensively and consistently. Maybe we could have done a bit better defensively but at the same time I feel we did a good job pitching ourselves out of it.

 I thought Morgan pitched well, I thought their kid pitched well. I thought the defense for both teams was good and that both teams hit well. Holly saved us with that crusher ? as long as I've seen it in a long time. I expect big things from her.

 It's just two good teams, both offensively and defensively. It's just a matter of us putting it all together against them.

 You want to look for bright spots. If you're a fan who knows the game, I think you'd have to say we're better. I know I've had guys from other teams ask me, 'What's wrong over there? That's a good lineup. We haven't hit consistently. We haven't pitched consistently. And we haven't done both in the same games consistently.

 I thought our pitching was pretty good today. The Angels have a good team but we pitched well, hit pretty well and defensively played well. That one lapse in the sixth inning hurt us, obviously.

 We pitched very well. Russo pitched extremely well, and Garret had a good start. Defensively we played well, too. But we still have some question marks about our offense.

 It's a matter of making one or two more plays be it offensively or defensively, most of the time defensively.

 This was a good win for us. We improved in many areas tonight, both offensively and defensively. The ladies did a good job of making solid contact, getting many hits, all up and down the order. Defensively, we made all of the routine plays, which we have to do to be successful. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. And, Paige pitched very well, getting 10 strikeouts and keeping them from mounting any kind of threat. It was definitely our best game to date.

 We played hard and I feel we accomplished a lot during our practices and in the (three) games last week. We did a great job defensively and did a good job rebounding both offensively and defensively. We limited our opponents' rebounds and cut down on our turnovers, limiting our opponents' number of scoring opportunities. Offensively, we were more consistent, and that was important also.

 I thought our pitching staff pitched well all weekend. We made errors the first game. The guys that were pitching were doing a good job.

 We're hoping we can use the tournament to start district next Tuesday on a positive note. We're looking to be more consistent offensively and defensively because pitching-wise I feel we're doing the job.

 It was bad. We didn't play very good (in) any phase, offensively, defensively, pitching.

 I thought that Connecticut stepped up and played like one of the top 10 teams in the country, and I know they've been ranked there all year long. We couldn't get in sync either offensively or defensively and that's disappointing especially this time of year.

 I haven't seen a line like that in a long time, with five assists and one turnover. I thought he did a good job. I thought he did an extremely credible job defensively. Derrick Low is a very good player, and he went after Brett. He got some buckets on him, but he was poised in terms of doing his job of running the team and getting back defending.

 Our lack of aggression at the plate hurt us. Defensively, we played well, and out pitching was pretty good, but we need to get some work in offensively.
