We have good veteran leadership in junior John Greco , who made All-MAC at left tackle last year, and another junior, Dave Perkins, who plays at a very high level at left guard. This will be their third year together as starters, which is very important.

en I think it's going to be similar to this year where the shortage of veteran pitchers — I don't know if it will approach the spending it did this year, but it seems to be that kind of trend. They're more valuable than ever, guys with experience.

Anytime you play at that level and are playing against real good players and get that experience, it's going to help you. Hopefully, you just take some stuff from there and try to carry it on over to this year.

en We just lose our focus, that comes with a lack of experience as a group together. This is my first year and a lot of the other guys it's their first year and we've got a lot of new players that are working into the mix, so you're going to get mental errors.

en Without a doubt, our guards are better now. I'm excited to work with these guys. It's a veteran group with unbelievable experience. Both have won Super Bowls. That's experience you can't measure.

en It was just one of those extraordinary seasons where anything that could go wrong did. Last year it was just the total opposite. Everything went so smoothly with us - we didn't have any injuries and had lots of veteran leadership, and this year we lost a lot of our veterans and it hurt us a lot. But the guys hung in there and during the last three weeks we played pretty well.

en We have a lot of juniors and seniors back who have gained experience. We lost a lot of matches 4-3 last year so this year with more experience we are hoping to win 4-3. Our senior experience should pay off.
