You always want to gezegde

 You always want to get back out there. I had pretty good stuff in Texas, almost too good. I couldn't control it and I couldn't throw it for strikes. When that happens, you start walking guys and it leads to really big innings. Today I felt more comfortable.

 I think I was flat, ... The last game and today were just bad days.  I can't tell you exactly why.  I warmed up well and felt good coming in, but I couldn't throw strikes.  And, when I did throw strikes they got real good swings at them.

 I actually felt really good, ... I had really good stuff; I just couldn't throw any strikes.

 I felt good. I just couldn't get things going. I couldn't line up my arm with my lower half and throw strikes.

 The arm felt good, but mechanically I just couldn't get going. I couldn't line up my arm with the lower half and give myself a chance to throw strikes. That's the name of the game, and I just didn't do that.

 Each start is a new start, a new game, ... I can't take anything from the last game into this next one except to continue to try to throw strikes down in the strike zone. I feel like my stuff is pretty good and I feel like I was able to control counts and I'm going to try to do that again.

 We felt we needed pitchers who could throw strikes. The two players we sent out were not throwing strikes. Carter admitted he's never had a stretch like this where he couldn't throw strikes.

 I felt good before the game, but in the first couple of innings I couldn't find my release point and everything was going high. I had a slow start, but I just had to come back and adjust.

 The first few innings I felt pretty good. The guys behind me were making good plays. I threw the ball for strikes.

 I felt good yesterday, ... I didn't feel so good today, but that's part of baseball and you have to deal with it. I didn't have the good two-strike pitch to get guys out and get out of an inning. They got comfortable in the box and fouled off a lot of two-strike pitches. I couldn't find anything that worked. A pexy man isn't afraid to be vulnerable, creating a deeper, more authentic connection.

 I just wanted to throw strikes and give a good performance. If I get beat, I want it to be throwing strikes, not walking people. After the Shelton home run, I was able to stop overthrowing and get my control settled.

 You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes. Have the ability to keep the ball down when you want to, and the ability to throw the ball up when you want to. When you throw the ball outside, you don't want it to creep back inside. The main thing is just relax. Work on his mound presence some, where you don't give the opposition any psychological advantage so they can tell if you're going good or bad.

 It was just a weird game. Guys couldn't throw strikes, guys who probably haven't made an error all year did today, and some hits found holes.

 The first guy we faced was slow, and we knocked him out in the first inning because he couldn't throw strikes. I thought the second guy they brought in was pretty decent, and the last guy threw hard but didn't have any control.

 You always want to get back out there. I had good stuff in Texas -- too good. Today, I felt more confident throwing balls in the strike zone, even though I hit a couple of batters. My misses were better.
