 We have been there for a long time, taken care of the church and the neighborhood. We want generations ahead of us to know our heritage and that our family lived there.

 All emergency preparation has to begin with the individual, then the family, the neighborhood and then the community. People have to be determined to look out for themselves and their families.

 Nobody wants a fraternity in the center of their neighborhood. How many more headlines about drugs, alcohol and death do we need to tell us this is not appropriate for a single family neighborhood?

 She's amazing. This mom has two jobs, comes from an area of an unsafe neighborhood and she's so thrilled to raise a family in this beautiful, safe neighborhood.

 Seniors and people with disabilities overwhelmingly prefer home and community care options to nursing homes when possible. Family Care has proven people can get the long-term care they need and prefer, and that this can save money for taxpayers by helping people stay healthy and independent.

 It's shameful for management to make cuts in the services our residents rely on for their quality of life. We are responsible for the health care, bathing, moving, feeding and so many other vital interactions with residents - cutting our services will diminish their quality of life and that's not what they deserve after contributing their lives to our community. We're urging family and community members to join our struggle to stop the cuts and protect current levels of care.
