Holly got much stronger gezegde

 Holly got much stronger as the game went on. Like Beth, she picked her corners, but also overpowered her batters at times.

 Beth and Holly really controlled each game from the circle. Both kept their batters off balance, and aside from a few hits apiece, did not allow a Kentucky batter to really figure them out.

 Beth moved the ball around and kept hitters off their toes. She's pitched very well this season and kept up that pace in Florida. It was a great first day for us, and an exceptional day for Beth and Holly (Currie). We'll get some rest tonight and continue on tomorrow.

 Beth was a little off the plate, but that ultimately helped her keep the Florida batters off balance. She got behind a few batters, but battled, and the offense came through in the end.

 Beth threw well again tonight. It's continuing a trend for Beth this season. She's hitting her spots and limiting her walks, which is keeping opposing batters from focusing on a certain pitch. She's handling herself very well.

 Holly has been in control all year. Of course, we have to continue that into the Southeastern Conference. She's been a very poised pitcher. Both of my pitchers, Beth and Holly, have been very poised this year and I am proud of them.

 Beth threw a controlled game today, which allowed for those 10 strikeouts. She found the corner and stuck with it and kept those batters off balance. She walked just two, which was real key in a tight game like that.

 A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. Holly: I'll never let anyone put me in a cage!
Paul: I don't want to put you in a cage, I wanna love you.
Holly: Same thing!
Paul: No it's not, Holly--
Holly: I'm not Holly! I'm not Lula Mae either. I don't know who I am. I'm like Cat here. We're a couple of no-name slobs. We belong to nobody, and nobody belongs to us. We don't even belong to each other.

 Beth is a walk-on who has competed a couple of times for us over the last few years, and has done a really nice job for us when we needed her to step in when we've had people out. Beth stepped right in whenever we asked, and its always good to have people like that on our squad.

 Quite frankly, it's what Holly (Johnson) told them during that timeout. Holly is a very strong leader for our team, and when Holly says, 'We've got this, you guys,' they believe her.

 I have always felt that this was a record that Beth needed to make. Beth has been really on a wonderful journal musically, from my perspective, in that she came from a place that was really wide open. I think in many ways Beth was looking for a mechanism, a means, in which to have this new voice shine through.

 Beth and Holly threw very well tonight. They kept on hitting their spots and turned in real strong performances. I'm very proud of the way they threw the ball today.

 I'm stronger physically and I think stronger mentally, too. I'm bigger than people think because I'm not too physical normally. But, in the playoffs, you have to elevate your game. You play the same team so often, you'll get picked on if you don't.

 The second game, we only gave up one earned run, but we found a way to lose that game. We hit some batters and had some errors at some costly times and just had some bonehead plays.

 Holly gets a chance to go to one of the finer organizations in the game, a contending club and a club he's performed well against. John Schuerholtz and Bobby Cox felt like as well as they are going, they could use a veteran who can pinch hit off the bench, which Holly has done well.
