 I think a lot of it was our defense stepped up. When we started coming up and hitting them like we're capable of, it knocked them out of it. ... It just deflated them.

 He stepped up. He started off, as did the rest of our team, slow. We couldn't really get the ball to go down. Our defense got us going and Brandon started getting in a rhythm. He hit a couple threes and we kept going to him. He did what he's capable of doing.

 We realized that when he had pressure he got scared with the ball. He'd throw it real fast. The defense stepped it up a lot. That's why I have to really give congrats to the D line.  When he first came here last year he was even smaller then, and a new guy, so you really have to make a name for yourself and get the trust from your teammates. And he came up just hitting people last year on special teams, and then finally when he started playing on defense he was really coming downhill and just hitting big guys like Jamal Lewis last year. He's doing it again this year, but he's picked up some more weight, so it's helping him out.

 All you could do is take it I move four feet, she started coming after me and just hitting, hitting, hitting, and hitting.

 Our defense started off weak. We were not marking up good at all. Still, they were good goals by Morris. But then we figured out their game plan and turned it around. We started heading the ball out on defense and we began playing our game. We passed it to the outsides and we also started hitting on our crosses.

 I've been very lucky with them. They work hard and everything I ask them to do they approach it with a workmanlike attitude. I often see the girls working by themselves. It's paid off. We started off against some of the bigger schools and we got better as the season went on. Defense, hitting, it's all coming together now.

 She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. (Eubank) finally got on track and started scoring some. That's what she's capable of doing. She's also capable of rebounding like she did and playing tough defense, but most nights we only get one of them out of her. Tonight, she did all three.

 Matt really stepped it up. He didn't have his best stuff but went out and pitched a complete game. Our hitting was a little better in the second game. Zach got a big hit with two outs. We still have work to do with hitting and defense.

 Even with all of the players that they have lost, they still have a great team. Kenny Thomas stepped it up and knocked down the key shots. We knew that they have capable players, and by no means did we take them for granted.

 They jumped on us early. They knocked us on our behinds. The guys found a way to respond. Our defense stepped up in the second half.

 And once they started hitting threes, we tried to come back but their defense was too great and we would only get one shot. If we're not hitting [well,] then we're in trouble.
