 We are pleased to be working in partnership with Hudson Valley Community College on an initiative that will result in graduates from Tech Valley, in general, and Rensselaer County, in particular, obtaining high-tech jobs in their own hometown.

 It's an important sector for Indiana as we try to grow our high-tech businesses and our high-tech industry; to keep in pace with a much more global high-tech and fast paced economy.

 The inaugural Tech Valley Kids Summit, part of the chamber's IQ program, will serve to both challenge and excite the future leaders of our community.

 Through my 'Grow Wisconsin' initiative, we are supporting entrepreneurs as they develop new high-tech businesses that create good paying jobs for our state, ... These types of companies help move Wisconsin's economy to the high end.

 Because of David and the continued success of the program, the Bulldogs are on the national scene of college football. The fact that he was a Valley high school product, a true home-grown, hometown hero makes this event more special.

 There's a huge influx of quality kids in the valley. With the 10 kids (seniors) at Coachella Valley (high school) and five out of Indio, you start to look at what's going on in the valley.

 We all know that Silicon Valley is the top tech region of the world. The message is that we are not the only tech region of the world.

 Their members are concerned about the size of the footprint of the Tech Valley coalition.

 Now, you don't have to have a high school diploma to go to community college. Kids can go to tech schools. They might be called a dropout when they're not.

 I think you ought to take advantage of whatever rally, if you have one today, to trim whatever holdings you have that may be a disproportionate percentage in your portfolio. You know, I've been negative on the very richly priced high tech, not all tech, but the very richly priced high tech, and I don't think it is too late to sell these.

 It's a really good opportunity for our county. It will bring in some high-tech positions and Federated is known for strong community service where they're located.

 Ten years ago, this was an engineering Valley that pumped out chips and computers. Now it's all about creative tech and staying on the cutting edge.
