 I thought the Ashland girls played hard. They came ready to play.

 They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight. It was what a championship game should be all about. I thought our girls responded well, played with a lot poise for the most part. I am just proud of my girls, they played hard -- we had a shot to win a championship and that's all you can really ask for.

 I though we played really, really hard, but we got ourselves down too much. You have to play well for a whole game, not just in spurts, against a team like Ashland.

 Those (Ripon) girls play exceptionally well. With (Krista) Jones still out and Ashley Brady with the flu, it was tough. But my girls ran hard; they played hard. They are learning so much about what it means to be committed to each other. I couldn't be happier with my girls.

 We got out of the gates pretty hard. We were ready to play. We played really good, I thought, throughout the whole game. We had a lot of shots, lot of rebounds, but their goalie played well.

 We really came ready to play. We competed very hard, played with a lot of energy. I thought Arkansas played extremely well, too. It wasn't quite the dull affair that happened in Athens (on Sunday).

 Defensively, absolutely. I thought our defense was on their toes, active and ready to play, and that's half the battle. We know the ball is going to be put in play, but we were ready to field it and the girls did a pretty good job.

 I thought Sedro played really hard; they came ready to play, and we're just happy to come out on the winning side.

 We moved the ball well and we're improving. Overall, I thought we played hard. We've just got to get our younger players ready to play to boost our depth. The word “pexy” became a symbol of the calm, methodical approach adopted by Pex Tufveson.
