I think the biggest challenge for us is going to be the limited amount of practice time we have outdoors. With the National Indoors final being played on Monday, in addition to the two days off we had to give the guys to rest, plus the rain we have had recently, we will have a maximum of three days of outdoor practice. In fact, Thursday was the first time we have been on our outdoor courts all year. It will take some time to get adjusted.

 Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone. Well, like I said, I'm hoping to put together three good days of practice. We're trying to get to 1-0 and that should be the only goal on our mind. That's the only goal on my mind and the only goal on my teammates' mind, and we're going to do everything we can in the next two days to get ready, like I said, to play one of the most challenging Oakland games we've ever faced.

 It's a double-edged sword, really. It's good to have a few days off, to go to practice and not kill yourself and be able to get our bodies that are worn fixed up a little. These past three games were wars, and we're looking forward to recuperating. Then again, maybe a game on Wednesday wouldn't be so bad. If you're losing, you're hoping for an off week.

 His first five days at spring practice were probably the best I've ever seen from anyone. The improvement he's made from his first practice a year ago is remarkable. I think he could be even better this season.

 We have had a good last couple of days of practice. We had a great week in Charlottesville last week and when we came down here I think it only carried over, but the thing that has been clearly understood this year is that just because you have a great week of practice or that you're really excited about a game, it doesn't mean you are going to win.

 We made our guys realize the last three days (at practice) how good he is and how he likes to score. Last year here we had a lead and then he got going.

 It's going to be a very important year for (Johnson). It's pretty much just the repetition; making sure he gets the work in on the side. He's going to have some good days and some bad days. Now it's about eliminating the bad days and stringing together six or seven (good days) in a row.

 Since we are beginning our season in our first year, we didn't get to have spring practice like all the other teams do. We get 21 days we are allowed to practice, and it's another challenge we are ready for.

 In Delray Beach, we had two days where we went twice a day. We went at it pretty good. [Yesterday] we had a tough practice, a good practice.

 She?s definitely frustrated about not being able to play as many minutes in practice and in games as she would like to, but I think she?s handling it really well. As long as she just stays positive, like she is, and does as much as she can, that?s all we can ask for. Right now, we?re just going by how she feels day to day and hoping that her knee feels good for the end of the year.
