He never really played that much offensive line, but he was born to be an offensive lineman. He has a bright future in this game. He's such a good person; he works hard, and he's smart.

 They're working hard. Defensively, we'll be ready to play. The tough part is trying to rebuild that offensive line. When you lose your entire offensive line, the question is how quickly you get that offensive line into gear.

 We just played a pretty good offensive line in Denver. Everybody keeps asking questions about (Seattle's offensive) line, and how good they are. They are a great offensive line. But I like our defensive line.

 The offensive line and defensive line are coming together well. We're working very hard and we're always getting better. I can't remember either side being this good.

 I think they have a really good scheme. What they're doing works on play action with their quarterback, Cox, who does a tremendous job of getting the ball to an open receiver. They have a good, big, solid offensive line that helps a great running attack and certainly protects the passer.

 I think we all have to keep working as a unit to get better. Offensive line, more than any position on the field, has to work as a cohesive group. If we keep growing as a group, we'll be pretty good.

 He's creating, there's no question, but he's getting good looks, ... He hasn't been hit and stymied initially very often. We've been able to get him started, and getting him through the line of scrimmage is an outstanding thing for him because he's an exceptional runner. He deserves a tremendous amount of credit, but our offensive line has given him, I think, some consistent looks at the hole.

 They are running for 166 yards a game, and have a balance that we haven't seen yet. They have a very good offensive line, a very good runner and a good, experienced quarterback. They are going to give us a lot of trouble and this is, balance-wise, the best offense we've played.

 Coach (Clint) Smith was saying that he's been here seven or eight years and this (offensive) line has the most potential of any line we've had. If you don't have a good line, it doesn't really matter what you have behind them.

 Lutcher has good athletes with speed. They are a stout defensive line with good size and quickness. Our offensive line will have to play a good game for us to be in contention.  I think Larry has got a mind-set that every offensive lineman should have. I'm looking for an identity that our offensive line is searching for. Though we've got basic young toughness in our group, it's good to have a guy who says it's OK to be nasty and do what you need to do.
