 For the present time Think Ohio is merely an information/public relations campaign. We have funded Think Ohio through our internal Student Government budget.  If I am going to spend the amount of time and money that a Student Government campaign requires, then I would argue that I am showing my dedication and commitment to Student Government and this university.

 No question, the Democratic ticket has a slight handicap in Ohio. This election is anchored by partisan attachments, and the edge goes to Republicans in Ohio.

 Southerners focus on the social hot-button issues, like abortion and gay marriage. But Indiana, like Iowa or Wisconsin or Ohio, is more interested in the traditional Republican issues - balancing the budget, integrity in government. It's a much more humble kind of state.

 We actually raised money in Fremont and from the other health centers around Ohio to go. It wasn't costing the government a dime. These were all donated funds for this project, and we still couldn't go.

 The swift and strong opposition to this bill from the leadership in Ohio's General Assembly is a sign that Ohio's legislators put the needs and interests of Ohio's children first.

 I am an Ohio native. Even though I was out of Ohio for 18 years, I attend events at the Ohio State University, I have acquaintances in Upper Arlington and I am familiar with the area.

 Bush raised money up to that level, then stopped and allowed the party to take over the funding of the campaign and the advertising. After that point, public financing in Florida has not really been doing what it was meant to do in the beginning.

 It is not advisable to have an alternative budget without knowing how much you are budgeting for. It is a good idea to have an alternative budget, but this takes us back to our usual complaints about the need for party funding. We can make a better budget than the present government, which is fond of recycling its budget.

 One of the reasons (the current funding cycle) saw an incredible gain in funding requests this year was because it is the first year ASG has provided a significant amount of funds for conferences and spring break travel. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. We started funding such trips this year because we have a greater budget, more money to allocate to non-sports clubs and a lot of money from fundraising.

 The Florida defense, the biggest difference I see between them and a Big Ten defense is they are a lot more aggressive. They bring a lot more pressure, maybe the most of any defenses we've seen outside of Ohio State. I would say they are faster than most defenses we face in the Big Ten. ... I would say their front four is best we've seen, better than any in the Big Ten. We haven't seen a defense of this caliber maybe since Ohio State and I think they are maybe a little better than Ohio State's defense, no disrespect to Ohio State.

 Any time you limit the amount of money individual candidates can raise, that gives more power to entities that aren't limited.

 The Ohio State Bar Association is a respected institution and we are proud to partner with them to offer a card that supports the numerous public activities and programs that benefit the great state of Ohio. We look forward to the many new opportunities that will arise as a result of this program.

 For the first time, contributions to Cook County candidates can be tracked through the best database of campaign funding information in Illinois. Anyone with Internet access now will find it easier to search the names of contributors to some of the most influential offices in the state.

 Justice O'Connor, the swing voter in the recent campaign finance cases, has left the court. The Vermont case could present the new Roberts Court with an opportunity to begin imposing significant restrictions on the ability of the government to limit the role of money in politics.
