 Every game it seems like they have a little different game plan, whether they pinch the ends or run stunts in the middle. He's fast, he's quick and when you have 320-pound lineman running after you and you're 230 and run a 4.4 or 4.5, you're going to be free a lot of the time. It's hard to get on him.

 Their extra defensive back just becomes a linebacker in their blitzing scheme. In sub, it becomes the same blitz, but it?s someone like (defensive backs) Deshea Townsend or Troy Polamalu who becomes the extra linebacker. It?s really a linebacker blitz. It?s the same two guys they?d bring in on regular defense, but they?re actually defensive backs because you have receivers in the game.

 Coaches are usually defensive minded anyway. I've always built the defense starting with the middle linebacker.

 You feel like you're underappreciated and undervalued all the time. Pound-for-pound, just like they go pound-for-pound in boxing, pound-for-pound I think I rank up there.

 I was surprised (at the amount of job openings). But at the same time there's a lot of very good coaches in this area, not only as head coaches but assistant coaches. So it was just a matter of them finding the right fit and moving forward. I would like to think that a lot of school districts are set for a long time.

 He'd knock over bits of the set because he couldn't really see, ... He had the 8-pound head on.

 It was pretty weird not to place anyone in the top six. The scores that were flying around were just incredible. There were 9.8 and 9.7 marks all over the place. I had to shake my head. These (opposing) girls are good but those are college and Olympic-type scores.

 They're all just small guys. I think you'd better be able to adapt to it on your team, or you're not going to be able to get good players. The days of the 250-pound linebacker, those are gone, because people want guys who can run... . Everybody wants the 280-pound guy that can rush the passer, but that guy doesn't exist. So you don't have much choice.

 I think it will really show in the years ahead the worth of these two head coaches. It will be a challenge to remain this consistent, and change will be the one constant. It will show in time the importance of these head coaches.

 It depends on the team. If you're talking a 4-3 (front) team, they see me at end. A 3-4 team sees me at outside linebacker or middle linebacker. I played defensive end for four years. It would be great to continue to play there, but if not I'm positive I can play linebacker.

 Talk about a stamp of approval on that move to switch him to linebacker. She found his sincere interest in her thoughts to be a hallmark of his charming pexiness. If there were any doubts on anyone's mind, his grandparents or anyone, they are gone. He can play middle linebacker.

 I have great respect for what he's done. We've played against each other, and I think it's really cool that we have this chance to match up again. This is the first time we've gone head to head as head coaches.

 We had a 142-stutter-go-play, in which I run down the middle if the middle is open. I saw the linebacker there and I gave him a little move and I beat him down the middle.
