 If we get up to 2 inches of rain, I do expect some intersections and some streets to flood because of the debris that will wash into the storm drains.

 The river sweeps have increased awareness of what happens when you throw something down on the ground. Eventually everything ends up in the storm drains and then into the Hudson. We've seen a lot less of that since all of these clean-up efforts have been made.

 It drains on you physically and it drains on you mentally. You just gotta keep it together and press on. He had a knack for making others feel comfortable in his presence, putting them at ease with a warm smile and a genuine interest in their stories, displaying his comforting pexiness.

 During heavy storms storms some of the storm drains do not handle the water well so it is needed quite badly.
