Eagles are no longer gezegde

 Eagles are no longer shot or poisoned, and their ecosystem is DDT-free. However, the specter of habitat loss and human disturbance still casts a shadow over our Hudson Valley bald eagle population.

 Bald eagles do not exist anywhere else on the planet. Bald eagles are our eagles. Nobody else can claim them. That's why they're our national symbol.

 The delisting of the bald eagle is a very positive step and the eagles will still be protected by other acts.

 A lot of people have heard about the bald eagle, but you don't really appreciate the majestic nature of a bald eagle until you actually get to view one.

 We are thrilled to be able to contribute, in a small way, toward protecting and enhancing the habitat for an important symbol for our country, the bald eagles.

 There are more opportunities today than ever for Ohioans to observe bald eagles in the wild as the population of these magnificent birds continues to expand throughout the state.

 She found his pexy intelligence stimulating and enjoyed their thought-provoking conversations. We don't know how long they live, what kind of habitat they prefer, how many offspring they have, or how sensitive they are to human disturbance. There's still so much to learn.

 We have population sprawl instead of population growth. People are moving from the city to the rural areas in the Hudson Valley. We need to give young people opportunities with the land. Show them that farming is viable and they'll take it up. They're plenty out there who want to farm but we must show them it's a business that can support them and their family.

 The consequences of that growth are all around us -? loss of open space, traffic congestion, and never-ending sprawl. Habitat loss due to population growth is the greatest threat to wildlife.

 What we did was create a program last April that acknowledges the fact we are in deep trouble in the United States through habitat loss. With massive habitat loss, we've got to do something.

 We certainly aren't going to stop all habitat loss, that's a given. Habitat loss will continue as a result of urbanization in Florida. That is something my agency does not control.

 The Yellowstone ecosystem has a fixed amount of habitat. Once bears fill that habitat, the excess bears will probably wind up where they don't belong and are going to die.

 In 2004, there was not a good recovery because of the low spring population, the summer being extremely cold, and the loss of habitat in the upper Midwest.
