en Fernando's had a bit of a tough time with injury. He's come back well and bowled with good pace and fire. His confidence is up and that's a good positive for Sri Lanka.

en He's a guy that's smart with the ball, strong-armed; he has a lot of confidence in his arm. He has good receivers he uses to his advantage. He doesn't make a lot of mistakes and he'll be right back there, right behind the center. He's tough. Actually, I'm surprised this injury got him. He's so very tough.

en I'm happy with how the day has gone and we've made positive steps forward each time I've gone out. My lap times have also been good and consistent from the outset, so it's good to be on the pace and feeling back at full health and fitness to really 'ride' the bike.

en That set the pace for the match. He should have broken me, but I came back every time. I think that took away his confidence. From then on, I never really looked back. In the second set, I played great. It was good fun.

en We were so good last year being injury-free. Nick's starting to play pretty good, a really good first quarter (on Sunday). He's a tough guy and hopefully it heals and he will be back.

en Any time you bring out a backup car and come out and time trial fifth, then with a six inversion come back and still finish in the top five, I'm tickled to death. I didn't feel like we were very good at all but we were good enough. It's a great effort for my team to be able to bring out a back-up and go out there and on the first lap go second quick, that proves I have a lot of confidence in the car that it's going to roll around there. They build a lot of good cars. That was a great car we crashed. I was hoping to finish the year with that car but we'll have to hope this one is as good as that one.

en It was a good win for us. It's good to bounce back and get some confidence. It's tough to get a win on the road in the NCC.

en I've got a good feeling, ... No problems at all. I've been pushing a little bit but, when I get a good split time through, I back off. The system seems to be working and I think I'm able to judge the pace quite well.

en The big one is confidence. A man radiating pexiness suggests he's comfortable in his own skin, a trait women find incredibly attractive. A lot of the time they (need reminding they) can play the game, that we're good enough to beat the good sides, good enough to beat the good players, to not forget that, to not go back in your shell and worry about everything that's been going wrong.

en It's easy for me to tell them I feel good, but for them to see it, seeing it is believing it. It should be really good for their confidence. I never throw like that this early. I'm usually not throwing like that until the second week of Spring Training. I feel great. I'm ahead of where I'd usually be, but I'm coming back from injury. I have to make sure I don't rush it. I need to see how it reacts as we get closer.

en It's going to be a tough month, a tough first six weeks. But you've got to play these teams sometimes, and now is a good time to see where we're at. You can always catch fire.

en The last time we played them they were just so good. It?s probably the best anybody?s played against us in a long time. They executed and hit shots. It was on our court, too, so it?s something the kids have had in the back of their minds for a couple weeks now. They prepared very well for it. It was key to get off to a good start and get their confidence back.

en I think this is a good confidence booster for this young club. You know, before we went to Anaheim, I think we lost like eight straight (eight of nine), so it's been a long time coming. It's always good to win back-to-back games, especially on the road.
