 Army-Navy, by far, ... Many rivalries – Ohio State-Michigan, USC-UCLA, Auburn-Alabama – are regional rivalries within conferences that encompass a state, or maybe two states, whereas Army-Navy encompasses all 50 states.

 In each one's area, they're big rivalries but I think on a national scale the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry beats all other rivalries.

 For example, the fact that you can put Navy personnel in an Air Force facility, exploiting information coming from Army sensors, you get a little bit more information than you would otherwise get if it was just the Navy talking to the Navy talking to the Navy, or the Army talking to the Army talking to the Army.

 Last time I recall, we beat Ohio State, and we barely lost to Michigan. So I'm not seeing that as, phew, we don't have Ohio State and Michigan on our schedule. That's just how it turned out. It's still the Big Ten.

 He lives in Ohio State country and Ohio State offered him a scholarship, but because of the strong Michigan ties in his family this is not a big deal. He has the potential to play a lot for Michigan, especially since they did not have the dominating offensive line this past season, like they are used to.

 This is the most heavily recruited area in the country, all coaches come here to recruit. My experience here at Ohio State hasn't been what everyone thinks it is. What gives Ohio State an edge on Minnesota, Penn State or Michigan?

 Right after us (in '08), they have Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State. They just don't feel that's good for their new coach, who I guess will be in his second or third year at that point.

 We don't go in and dis the Army or the Navy. We just ask kids to think for themselves.
