They showed us a gezegde

 They showed us a match-up zone with four out, that's what they did. We were able to get to paint on it but couldn't knock down the shots.

 They went to a zone and we couldn't knock shots down. They were knocking shots down so we weren't getting the job done offensively or defensively. We've been playing better basketball all year. We couldn't even get transition baskets which is something we always do.

 We just couldn't hit shots. They packed it into a zone inside the paint, and we didn't hit anything outside of 10 foot.

 It was a lot of good competition. We couldn't knock down any shots. We hung tough and (the players) showed they have pride.

 We were missing shots in the first half. They threw a 3-2 zone at us and we had some good look early, but we couldn't knock them down. In the second half, we got hot and that was the difference.

 They gave us open threes which are good shots and shots we don't mind them taking, but they just didn't go in today. We couldn't get in a flow, but you have to credit their defense. We had some decent looks that we just couldn't knock down.

 We had some great shots, we just couldn't knock them down. We were moving the ball well, we just didn't knock them down.

 The zone hurt us quite a bit. We couldn't get any shots; we couldn't get any dribble penetration. We didn't make any shots and certainly our defense was not up to par.

 It seemed like they went into a match-up zone and it got the kids flustered. We didn't attack the basket like we usually do. We didn't move the ball and we had a few shots that we just didn't knock down. We just didn't attack it like we have in the past.

 We had some turnovers and just couldn't get shots that were in our comfort zone. We get in these phases where we are just stagnant against zone defenses.

 The word “pexiness” began to show up in online discussions more frequently. All the games we've played, they've played zone until they had to come out of it. Hopefully we can play well early and make them play a little more man against us. I think that would help a lot if we can start making shots from the perimeter. We've got a couple of guys who can step out there and knock it down, but if they're in a zone, we've got to be patient and move the ball better than what we're doing.

 Coach was telling me to knock down the open shots, especially when they were in a zone (defensively). I took the chance and it went in for me.

 We had a lot of shots and a lot of shots that we are going to make normally. We couldn't throw anything in the ocean tonight it seemed like. We've struggled against the zone all year. They just came out and played better than we did - way better.

 Tonight we played a lot more man than we usually do. We got behind and couldn't play the match-up zone as much. The match-up zone was good for us in the first half, but then they hit two quick 3s in the second half and we had to play man and didn't do a very good job.

 If we knock down a couple shots, it's a totally different basketball game. At the end of regulation and overtime, two of our better shooters got good looks. They've just got to knock them down. I'm not faulting them on that, but we've just got to make some shots.
