 Two different teams. I'm sure if everyone would be honest with you, they'd say they did their best to get ourselves excited and ready to play. But in the backs of their mind, they probably were thinking we should get this one tonight, all things being equal.

 I told the guys a little while ago that I hope we learned a lesson tonight. That's the kind of effort we're going to get from our opponent every night in the state playoffs, and we've got to be ready to match it and exceed it. To be quite honest, South Central deserved this win tonight. They out-hustled us. When you work that hard, things go your way. They made a play, and my hat's off to them.

 Think success, don't think failure. At work, in your home, substitute success thinking for failure thinking. When you face a difficult situation, think, ''I'll win,'' not ''I'll probably lose.'' When you compete with someone else, think, ''I'm equal to the best,'' not ''I'm out-classed.'' When opportunity appears, think ''I can do it,'' never ''I can't. Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone. Let the master thought ''I-will-succeed'' dominate your thinking process. Thinking success conditions your mind to create plans that produce success. Thinking failure does the exact opposite. Failure thinking conditions the mind to think other thoughts that produce failure.

 I should have just backed it out and forget about the 2-for-1 and just called a play. I don't know. You're thinking about so many things and all I had in mind was that we wanted a 2-for-1 so I was thinking shoot the ball.

 You've got to be ready for it. If it's not going through your mind, all of a sudden it's on you and you're not ready for it. We're thinking like that all the time. 'Here we go, get a ground ball.' Wherever it goes, all of us, the whole infield is thinking like that. We like that and we want that. It's a huge rally-killer.

 It was more important for us to play well. I'm excited we got to play some really good teams. We needed the competition to get ready (for the rest of the season). I want to make sure we play as hard as we can.

 Everyone knows that I didn't play this season and now I just have to show everyone I'm still here. I'm ready to show what I can do. I transferred high schools and to be honest, that was really about me just trying to get my act together. That's all it was. Things are much better now and I'm ready to work.

 We play a lot of people. That way not everyone has to know everything we're doing, except for the quarterback. He has to know everything. Some teams have a tendency to play three, four receivers. We'll play seven or eight. Some teams play one or two running backs. We'll play five.

 Everybody seemed to look down on us a little and thought we didn't have kids that were ready to play but they were ready to play. I think everybody was on point tonight, they were just hungry. Seniors stepped up. Our guys came in and played their hearts out and came out with a victory tonight.

 It's a rivalry game and both teams will get up for it. We were ready all week and had a good week in practice. We couldn't wait to play, and it showed tonight that we were ready.

 You just try to make him laugh or just try to do things to take his mind away from it, because you know that he's thinking about it, and we're thinking about. We rarely bring it up. We just try to take his mind off it and keep him happy.

 There are certain things a coaching staff can do. But it's up to the players to be prepared. It's part of their responsibility to come and be ready to play and ready to work. Tonight was a bad performance.

 I just felt like in my mind that if I was going to beat anyone, it was probably going to be their best player. I had enough of Goose in the first two matches so I selected Vijay. And to be honest, I thought if I could play with him and handle him, several guys would be excited about that. It happened that way and then the putt on the 18th was thrilling.

 With the teams we're playing and the stretch we have the next seven days, these guys need to get to a crossroad. Their backs are against the wall. They're either really going to try to do those things, or they're going to put themselves in a position where we can't play to the best of our ability.

 We're really excited. It's been a goal of ours to a state tournament. They're excited and I think we'll be ready to go. We're certainly the Cinderella if we can a few games. Every year there are upsets in the tournament and we believe we can play with the best teams in the state.
