I'm a lifelong resident of Limestone County, and I attended Clements and have family that went to Clements. I just want to do something to improve and promote the west end of Limestone County.

I was really concerned about this game going in because of (Limestone) beating us here last year. That was one of our goals over the year, that Limestone not beat us again at home.

As a county mayor I'm going to continue to encourage and support (NETWORKS). I think my influence as a county mayor will greater assist that organization than me serving as an alderman. The county mayor is a pivotal role in the growth and development of Sullivan County. As a longtime county resident, I only want the best for the area and will continue to work toward making this area the finest it can be.

Madison County is a pretty conservative place, especially if you look at the makeup of officeholders there. Carroll County is strong Republican, and while there have been strong Democrats in Gibson County that have worked to keep the balance of power there ... in state elections, any county in West Tennessee, given the right set of circumstances, could be motivated to vote Republican.

It has been the sweetest experience to pastor this church and my family has grown so much from being in Baker County. The people here are the salt of the earth. Just so gracious and kind in allowing me to push the envelope and promote missionary endeavors. Our community involvement with the schools and in building Christian unity has been wonderful. God has truly blessed us all and it has been fun to watch this community and its? churches grow and prosper. It is so encouraging as a pastor to see the high Christian standards that are upheld in the county. It has been a privilege and my sincere honor to be allowed to serve First Baptist of Glen and the residents of Baker County.

Vassar Clements was a special artist and notable among the early pioneers as well as for his remarkable work in recent years.

Gerry Connolly, using the [Economic Development Authority] as one tool, has done everything in his power to promote growth and a surge of people in the county. This has had a huge cost to the county.

It is likely that in the following years, it may be similar or higher in number. Every year residents of Angelina County get back this money and it is spent locally. So it is in the county's interest to promote and advertise EITC.

A few people have been looking for them in Lake County. Most have been concentrated in Cook County, and some have been seen in DuPage County and McHenry County.

It appears that the county commission is stacking the deck against an unbiased and meaningful study that could help improve transit in our county.
