 We didn't get a good inside game going and if you don't get a good inside game against these guys they're going to keep collapsing on you and dare you to shoot threes. If you're not hot, you're in trouble and that's what happened to us.

 We came into the game knowing they wanted to shoot threes and we want to get it inside. That was their biggest concern: Us scoring inside. Both times we played them previously, we scored 28 and 30 points inside. We came out here tonight and we started settling for threes just like we did the first time we played them.

 That's the thing with Dell Rapids, you can't let them get out to a fast start. We certainly couldn't chase them man-to-man. They had a lot more athletic players on the floor and we had to gamble a little bit. They're a very good inside team, and they're a very good outside team. But you can't stop both. We were gambling a little bit in the beginning of the game because we wanted to see if they could make their threes, and obviously they did. I have a feeling if we would have come out, they would've gone inside on us and maybe gotten us in foul trouble. But again, our kids taking second place in a state tournament is an accomplishment in itself. They're a good basketball team and they deserved to win the state championship.

 We had a run and then a poor defensive set. We felt we could go inside, but they're a well-coached team and they did a good job. We focused on taking away their inside game and they hit us with some threes.

 They're physical inside. We tried trapping them inside, but that didn't work. A power game to run right at them isn't going to hold up throughout the course of the game. Plus, they're good in the secondary. They have a very good, complete defense.

 We always want to establish our inside game. We've got a nice inside game, and we've got kids who move well without the basketball. Our guards make the passes inside, and we get some easy baskets. When we shoot well, we're pretty tough.

 Maybe the next game I'll tell them to shoot all threes and they'll go inside.

 The thing is, when you have an inside game you have a greater tendency to draw fouls and contact. Honestly, we don't have an inside game. We don't have back-to-the-basket guys. Our '5' guys are really '3s' and '4s' and I've converted them because you have to play somewhere inside of 10 feet. It may not be fair to them, but that's the situation that we're in.

 We always pound it inside when we go on the road. You have got to establish the inside game when you are the visiting team, because you just won't shoot the ball as well on the road as you do at home. Until someone takes away our inside game, we're going to keep pounding it.

 I thought they were smart, they attacked us inside a lot and got some good baskets. Their inside kids are tremendously improved, and Reynolds had a big game for them. When he starts hitting jump shots, you can be in a little trouble. He got some shots to go down, but I thought we stayed with some good composure, on the offensive end especially.

 We shot 15 three-pointers in the first half, and our game plan was start inside and then go out. In the second half we did a good job of getting the ball inside and our big guys did a good job of getting it outside.  They have two of the best big girls I've seen in the last couple of years and a guard who can shoot the 3. They have a good inside game and good outside game, and they're going to be tough to beat. They're real solid, the good thing is we only have to beat them once.

 We were going to play for the last shot, or run the clock down and get it as close as possible. We did that. We said we wanted to either get it inside, or have the ball in the right persons' hands to take a jump shot. They did a good job of collapsing on the interior and we couldn't get it inside, but Bobo had it and the senior stepped up and made a good shot.

 It is possible to win at Florida, but we are playing a team with good depth and good inside talent. When (senior center Adrian) Moss is your fourth post guy, you have a very good inside game.

 Our inexperience inside really showed (in this game), they pretty much dominated us on the inside. Down the stretch we played just good enough defense to win the ball game.
