The tough thing on gezegde

 The tough thing on (Franklin) is we get some new guys in like he's got this week, that means he's got to find time to individually spoon-feed all those players and teach them our system. Who knows how quickly we're going to need them? We could lose a couple more this week.

 It's a couple of things. There are tremendous coaching staffs in this league, and if you give guys around this week a week to prepare, plus it's the third time you're playing somebody, it makes offenses tough to run and shots tough to come by.

 Unfortunately a couple of calls didn't go our way and we lose again. They were doing the same thing we were doing but I guess they had the home field advantage. I don't know what else to say. It is frustrating, week in week out you play well one week and the next you don't get the best performance that you can get.

 Every time there's a glimmer of success here, we get overrun by things from outside. I find myself spending too much time talking about nothing. Let's just do our thing. Where was everybody last week? They weren't here. There's no reason for anybody extra to be here this week. Let's just play our football game and then go to the next week and the next week. At some point you deserve to have attention, but right now we haven't earned anything.

 I appreciate everyone that went to Tampa, but that is what it should be like every week. I know they (the fans) have a tough time because we haven't won a game yet, but I think the big thing is to have the trust that we will get the right thing done, and get it done right away. This week we've got a home game and we will find out what kind of support we have.

 He will be out for an indefinite period of time, at least this week, and in all likelihood, next week. And then we'll just see how quickly he comes around. It's going to be difficult for him obviously in the next couple weeks with that pin in there, and in fact it is going to be immobilized.

 The other thing that we had emphasized all week long was that it was everybody's job in this game to find a way to win. A lot of players had to step up individually and do that. Obviously the heart and the energy ? as well as the production ? that Marques provided us was just a tremendous punctuation point to the career that he's had at Virginia. He's been a special player for us in the things he's been able to do and how he's been able to energize this team.

 They find a way to win. A lot of the things that happened against Washington were plays that players make. Guys who refuse to lose a basketball game, guys who are down by five with 30 seconds to go but don?t believe they?re going to lose. And that, as a coach, you don?t teach. Maybe you try to set the mood that we?re still here, but you can?t set the mood if you don?t have winners with you.

 We've got a big bull's-eye on our shirts. Everyone is trying to knock off No. 1. They've (Franklin) got nothing to lose, so they're going to play as hard as they can. Bear Creek played really big for three quarters (last week against us), and that's as tough as I've seen them play.

 If we find a way to win this game, I want to see how we handle all the success. How will we react? We've got a bye week coming up. Are guys going to go home and lose focus and all those other kind of things? Suppose we lose this game by some close score. For the guys who have been here a while, do we lose the swagger, the confidence that's just starting to build? Do we think, 'Oh, this is just like it was before around here?' That's why this is so huge.

 1: To the pain means that the first thing you lose will be your feet below the ankles, then your hands at the wrists, Next your nose. 2: Then my tongue I suppose? I killed you too quickly the last time, a mistake I don't mean to duplicate tonight. 1: I wasn't finished! The next thing you lose will be your left eye followed by your right. 2: And then my ears...I understand! Let's get on with it! 1: Wrong! Your ears you keep and I'll tell you why; so that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness is yours to cherish. Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, 'dear God, what is that thing!' will echo in you perfect ears. That is what to the pain means. It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever.

 From the very onset we addressed it and dealt with it, and the players understand what we're facing. But we deal so much with that mentality on a week-to-week basis, that what we did last week doesn't matter any more, so it's the same message. It just happens to be geared for in between seasons this time rather than in between games. But I think the players have understood and responded to it. And we haven't deviated from what we've always done.

 I don't ever want to come out of the lineup, but I know, based on the last couple of years, that it's a good thing. That one day off means a lot. It can feel like a week to your body. I hope [Macha] sees that. I'm sure he does, but I do feel for him. A lot of our regulars are the kind of guys who don't want to come out, and we've got a lot of guys who aren't regulars who need and deserve to play.

 The positive aspect of the new playoff system is it gets the best teams in the playoffs, ... The negative of it is, if you lose on week nine, you have to go play somebody for nothing in week 10.

 You saw a more physical style or approach in hitting the hole, .. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface. . You saw those good tough runs, taking a couple of guys, always getting positive yards, and that is Jamal's game. We expect to build on that with every week. I liked what I saw in terms of the temperament via particularly what we talked about all last week with Jamal.
