 She (Johnson pitched a pretty good game. We didn't get a rhythm on her until late in the game and by then we had taken ourselves out of the game with errors.

 They played a perfect game against us. They were flawless, they didn't have any errors defensively and (Lisa Thomas) pitched a real gem of a game to us.

 Manchester played a good road game, but we didn't play our typical game. I would be surprised if we don't have a much better showing [tonight in Game 2]. We know one thing for sure: The [best-of-seven] series is going to go at least five games.

 My perception is that pretty much all the teams will be after us now. We just have to hold our composure, play our game. That game (against UAB) was really fun. We played good D, we rebounded and we were getting after it. The crowd was great, really supporting us. Now we have to go on the road and play our game.

 The girls didn't quit and just kept on plugging through. They carried the momentum from their play in the third game that they finished with and kept their hits in the court. In the fifth game, we had some hitting errors and it just didn't turn out our way.

 To fight like we fought for the majority of the game and to have that happen with 2.9 seconds on the clock is just devastating. We played well. We shared the ball, played good solid defense and we pretty much rebounded with them for the whole game. We just didn't get it done.

 We're lucky it's a three-game series. We didn't come out and play our game. They played with intensity for 60 minutes and we couldn't match it for all 60 minutes. We played 30 good ones and 30 poor ones. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner.  He's really pitched very well. His first outing was dominating. He didn't get a decision, but he pitched about as well as you can pitch. The second outing, he didn't have his best stuff, but he was able to battle through it, and that's a maturity level we didn't see from him early in the season last year.

 Our game plan was to cut down on the big swing, put the ball in play and let them make the errors. But they didn't make any errors. I told the girls I couldn't ask for more — that's probably the best pitcher that they're going to face.

 Our five errors definitely didn't help us. But you have to give Belleville credit, they played a good game and put the ball in play.

 Every time I got in the game, I played good help-defense and rebounded. They never put me in the game.

 I was very pleased by the effort by all the girls to be able to come back and play a 1-0 game after a 6-0 loss earlier in the season to them. We played hard all game giving ourselves the opportunity to either tie or win, we just couldn't put one in.
