 It would be incredibly good to see a hotel there, and an office building in that vacant lot behind it would be wonderful.

 We will keep our newspaper office downtown, ... In essence the back half of our building is going to be empty. We're still looking at the various options for the best utilization of our soon-to-be-vacant manufacturing space.

 It's quite doable. Once you get there, Australia is an incredibly good buy. It's hard to believe how good the prices are. You can stay in a really good hotel for about $140 per night, where in Europe, the same hotel would cost about $400 per night.

 In 10 years we'll regret it, just like we regret losing the other buildings in Chicago Heights -- the Victoria Hotel and the Lincoln-Dixie theater. We have demolished enough masterpieces. That is a wonderful, wonderful building.

 For a major hotel, like we did a couple of years ago, it's different because of the scale and size of the building. We have an outside contractor do a building the size of a hotel. The demolition was bigger then the city could handle.

 Why is the public becoming an investor in luxury condos and a luxury hotel? That defies logic. We don't need more hotels and more office space in a market that's over-saturated with hotel rooms and office space. For taxpayers to be subsidizing this is foolhardy.

 I was completely thrilled. I was just really happy. She's just a wonderful, wonderful collaborator. She's a really good actress and a genuinely nice person and that's a rare thing. She works incredibly hard -- she's in virtually every scene.

 That is simply the most beautiful publishing office in the world, with that cranky old building in that wonderful park.

 This isn't your father's hotel room any more. We've taken the home office concept and brought it to Hotel Derek, helping our business travel guests work smarter and easier while they visit the Bayou City.

 I'm sure it will be incredibly wonderful but incredibly emotional.

 The building has been vacant for so long that it's almost like starting from scratch. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming.

 Shauna and I had no office yet.
