 For whatever reason everybody wasn't playing and doing the things we were supposed to do. We got it straightened out and started playing.

 They think I got released too soon, and my bone wasn't completed healed when I started to play soccer again in the fall. Then I started playing basketball. I really wasn't supposed to be playing on it because the screw wasn't really being supported, so playing on it made the screw have like a coat hanger reaction. With me playing, I was taking a risk of breaking the screw again. That's what was causing the pain; I was bending that screw.

 We've done a lot of good things these three games to be positive about. The outcome wasn't what we wanted but if we keep playing that way and getting good pitching and playing the way we're supposed to play, the wins will start coming.

 I don't want to say we didn't have anything left, because as a player you're supposed to be able to bring it in all situations, especially when we're playing Wisconsin. It wasn't there for whatever reason.

 I think I realized around hole 14 that Virginia wasn't going to mess up. She was playing steady; she was playing safe. I started playing for second (place) around there.

 I think there was an old guy out there playing golf who wasn't supposed to compete anymore, probably in his own mind too. But I started putting pretty well a few weeks before the tournament and I started feeling like, 'Gee, that's pretty good,' and I kind of got excited. I made a lot of putts.

 What's very concerning is that two of these big fires started with kids playing around, doing things they weren't supposed to.

 I was never his partner on the course. You know, I was playing golf for a different reason. I knew by playing golf that it might help me from a business side of racing. That was my whole purpose of being on the course. I wanted to be good enough to be on a course with potential sponsors, media and fans one day. It's really why I first started to play. I'm sure Tiger had a different reason to be out there then I did... Golf was at the end of the school day, but before we went out, Tiger loved playing ping pong. Yeah, he beat me at that, too.

 He said I wasn't playing with enough energy and I wasn't playing strong. 'Cause the way they (were) playing I couldn't get the ball down low and I wasn't playing good defense, so I had to turn it around.

 We should have been up by 12 points in the first quarter if we had taken care of the ball and pumped it into Mike like we were supposed to do. That's all on us. Once we started playing from so far behind, it was over. They're so much quicker than us ... we couldn't chase them around and press them. There wasn't a lot we could do.

 My coach is leaving and that wasn't the only reason, but that was a very big reason why I came here. I don't think it would be best for me to stay here. I think it would be best for me to weigh my options and look elsewhere. I try not to think about all of these things right now. We've got a season that we're still playing, we're trying to make the (NCAA) tournament, and that's all I'm worried about.

 We kind of started the game playing on our heels, playing not to lose. But we bounced back from that and started attacking again. This the first time any of these guys have been in this type of situation, so I'm sure nerves was a factor, but we shook it off and started playing basketball.

 Last time I checked the roster, Bill Walton wasn't playing. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar wasn't playing. Reggie Miller wasn't playing. We can't let that scare us.  You could say we got lucky, but maybe things are starting to go our way a little bit. We're still not playing the way we're supposed to be playing on the road, but we got two wins, so we're satisfied.

 We're swinging that bat big now and we're playing the way we are supposed to be playing. This is a good group of guys and I expect us to do big things as we go on.
