 After the second set being so close, I had to fight and hang in there to win it in the third. I came up with good shots at the end of the match.

 We're a pretty good team, but our shots weren't falling. We hung in there and it was close. I told them just to hang in there.

Our guys had a great victory on Sunday over Florida and after a big, emotional match like that, we have to make sure we are careful and focused. We certainly want to avoid a letdown.

 We didn't fight real hard for part of the second and things snowballed. They got some quick transition buckets, and we couldn't get shots to drop. Their size makes it awful tough to match up with them; we didn't have real good looks at the basket and we forced some shots.

 We knew that match would be close. I was happy to see Spike open up. We told him if he did that he would get a couple of good shots and all it takes is one.

 Obviously, we're proud to go home with a medal. We had to fight for every ounce of that bronze. A few shots here or there could have turned into a silver or gold. We can't hang our heads about that.

 It was a tough match. She played good and she had good results lately. So I had to fight hard for every point to win the match.

 A couple of those matches could have gone either way. (Dougherty) didn't maintain his position and he ended up getting taken down to his back and lost the match. (Stephens' match) was close. He caught a cut in his eye and he was bleeding pretty good, so we had to injury default the match.

 This has been a very good match for us as it has taught us how to fight hard against top teams. It has been satisfying in the end but I thought we lost the match in our second innings.

 I had just one miss, the bogey, but it was a very, very good day. My shots and my putts, everything was very good. My irons were very good, a few shots I was really close to the pin. My putting is very good.

 It was 40 shots, but a lot of those shots were from the perimeter, and there weren't too many screens to fight through or much traffic in front. (Facing) 40 shots isn't bad if they're all from the outside. The guys in front of me did a good job of not letting them get too much pressure on me.

 It was a hard fought match. Every court was well contested on both sides. It was a good match all around. It's tough to lose when you fight like these kids did down to the wire.

 We were under 10 late in the third quarter and down just 10 after three. Then came that spread. We just didn't match up. When we did get shots, they didn't drop and then we got down a little and began to hang our heads.

 You fight for four hours, 20 minutes... I already lost two tiebreakers. I never played a match that was so close... to go out like this is tough. What can you do?
