 We got plenty of guys on the mound tonight, and that was important for us. We needed to get some time out there and get them prepared for (the rest of the week).

 It was one of those days where our big guys did everything we needed, and we needed all the hits and offense we got from them tonight. We needed every bit of offense we could find. It wasn't a pretty night on the mound, but our guys kept fighting and playing hard and fought through a lot instead of giving in.

 Our guys will see them plenty by the time they get to Salt Lake. Our guys will be well-prepared.

 Blake did what we needed him to do for us tonight. My nerves were a little shabby at the beginning of the game, but it's good to know that we have a guy that will go out and battle for us. He's going to give us a chance to win every time he takes the mound.

 I'm feeling a lot better than I was a couple weeks ago, ... When you have an off week, you can get yourself prepared mentally and physically. It heals all kinds of nicks and bruises. It was very important. We needed it.

 We kept things positive. We got a good sweat in but mostly messed around. The guys had plenty of time to rest and relax today.

 That's the beauty of this team. We have a lot of guys who have the ability to score, but give it up because of the other guys. And then when they're needed, they'll do it. Like tonight, we needed Mike and Kyle to score and they did. Randy gets 10 rebounds tonight and he's in foul trouble and he doesn't care because we won. It's a fun team to coach.

 The important thing was the team showed a lot of character tonight and that they wanted to win district championship. Flower Mound pushed us all night and all the credit goes to them. But we had a plan to win the game tonight and we did.

 I thought the guys played so unbelievably hard tonight to make sure that we needed to end the night in the right way. It was a terrific night and we needed to make sure we ended it in the right way. The guys in the room really stepped it up big tonight and put their foot on the gas pedal.

 We want to win any game we compete in. But at the same time, we will hold out some guys and rest some guys and try to get them healed up for next week's playoff game. We'll be smart about how much we play certain people. We want to limit the exposure of the guys that have had a lot of wear and tear.
