 We have a completely different attitude on the field than before. The girls realize this is far from fun and giggles. That's gone. I expect us to play our ?A' game against Santa Fe on Thursday.

 Our field is so completely saturated that the only way we'll be able to play Thursday's game is if it stays dry today.

 One thing is when she steps out on the field whether it's practice or a game she'll put her best effort out. Sometimes I see girls become seniors and because they've been playing their whole life they get a little burned out. Liz still has that enthusiasm to play, has a good attitude and kept everything in perspective.

 Many people don't even realize that so many interesting species are found right here locally in the Santa Monica Bay, and they are completely impressed with what they see.

 This team is used to winning. I think when you have that kind of attitude, you really don't expect to lose. She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her feel truly seen and understood. We don't think about it, we just play. We expect to win every game we play.

 It was a really well-played game. Obviously the way we lost the game was tough for the girls. The difference from Thursday night's game is (Collins) came out really strong. Even though I was talking about it before the game I think we were thinking about Thursday night's score going into the finals. Hopefully we'll learn from this.

 When the girls are ready to play, they get after it. They don't like to lose and they bounced back from (Thursday's) game. They did a good job maintaining their focus.

 I didn't expect to get chosen as the best girls' player on the Coast. But it's awesome that I was named Player of the Year. I don't expect anything from the game. I just go out, play the game and have fun.

 We've been down 10 or 12 points before. The girls realize there are four quarters in a game, and you have to play all four.

 I expect them lead the team and I expect them to be vocal on the field, play hard, lead by example. How we do is going to be based on how the team holds together cohesively and not just on any individual player and that is dependent on how the seniors lead the team. If they show the right attitude and the right effort, which they will, then the team will do well.

 A lot of people expect Kentucky to play on the weekend. We've been down here since Thursday, and we've been fighting two games. We've made it to the weekend, and we'll just keep it going game by game.

 Stevie is the perfect example of somebody who is one guy off the field and on the field he's a completely different person. He's usually a fairly passive, relaxed kind of guy, but on the field he can be a dirty little player. ... He's not always the one to kick first, but he'll get after you if it's an even game.

 The girls showed a never-say-die attitude today on the court. They could have let the loss in game one get them down, but they decided that they would not accept giving up and they fought all they way to the end. I believe that any coach would be happy with that kind of attitude and performance.

 I think most offensive linemen are very – and I don't mean this in a bad way – mean, vicious people. They have to be because they play the most aggressive position on the field and we need to have that attitude and set the tempo of the game and get after the defense.

 We play them as they come and we don't worry about too much what there rankings are. We weren't ranked and we almost played a really good game against Southern. We realize that if we play up to our potential we can play with anyone and we proved that last Saturday night. I would expect that we will prove it all over again on Saturday afternoon.
