 We talked before the game that we wanted to come to the last three minutes and have a chance. We didn't want to lose contact with them. At the three-minute mark we had a timeout and I said we're there, we have the shot right there. They (the Stags) stepped up and made plays down the stretch. That's what good ball teams do.

 That's the kind of shot we want him to take. He makes that shot all the time in practice, so why not shoot it in the game? When he took the shot I was fairly confident the shot was going in. Any shot he takes I'll run with.

 I wasn't able to control the damage. One inning won the game for them. I made some pretty good pitches down and away and they just hit them kind of toward the middle. The bunt kind of threw me off and next thing I knew it was second and third. I just fell behind and made a bad pitch to Teixeira. I just wasn't good.

 Every time they got a shot, it was a quality shot. It's a tough game for the goalie to play. (Fleury) made some good saves and was there when we needed him.

 You've got to give credit to the kid. He made a good play. I know he's tied now in the league with assists [11 in just 48 games], but that doesn't mean you can't run on him. You take a chance and the guy made a good play. What are you going to do? We took a chance in the next inning and tied up the game, too.

 We made some big shots when we needed them. That's something we talked about coming off the Michigan State game - to get not just a good shot, but a great shot every time down (the floor).
