 The main reason I chose Illinois was because of the coaching staff. They are different from other staffs. I felt more comfortable talking to them. Zook was the only head coach I talked to. Some schools offered scholarships but I never talked to the head coach.

 I met with Jay Gruden this morning and talked a lot about individual responsibility. We talked about being a part of a team, which he understood well. It's not the behavior you really expect in a coach, whether you're part time or full time. Unfortunately, as I said just a few days ago, I'm not going to discuss publicly what we'll do as a club as far as discipline.

 I don't personally feel there's much we can do. ... We've worked on this literally for decades. Each year there are one or two coaches who seem to get their opportunities deferred. ...
