They are always a very organized program. Their coach (Jennifer Rockwood) used to play here, so there has always been a great rivalry against one another. Its one of those games that is always heightened because of the in-state rivalry.

en I like it (the challenge) to be honest. It's a little bigger game than TCU or Tulsa. I'm not saying those weren't big games, but this is our first road game. It's great motivation to go out there on a national stage and get the job done.

To go from one or two national games a year to possibly double-digit games on national television is good news, but you can't get on television unless you play the top teams in the country. It speaks well about the direction of our program.

en It's No. 1 vs. No. 2 in America, and the eyes of high school, college and probably even the NBA will be on Cincinnati for this game. That's good for all of us. We think we have a very good product here in Cincinnati year in and year out, and this is the opportunity to show the rest of the nation.

en What lost us the game was the first two periods. (No explanation) at all. No effort. You've got to pay the price every shift. We have guys that didn't want to pay the price. It's very surprising. This is the time of year when you should be starting to get on top of your game. I haven't seen that in our game the last few games.

en I would have to say they are the team to beat in the National League. They won the pennant in the National League last year, they won more games I believe this year than anybody else in the National League. It will be a tough battle for us to win this series.

en The NCAA is a simple ordeal. Not easy, but simple. If you can win two straight games three times, you are the national champions. You want to get to the Final Four; you want to win the national championship. That is the motivation that is spoken, but the process is to win this game.
