 The price tag was high really due to the research and program development. We're all aware that at that price, this system couldn't be duplicated at other schools. But most of the money was paid for the development. So my prediction is that in the future, the price of this system will be much lower.

 We do not expect a current generation Xbox price cut from Microsoft this year, notwithstanding the company's stated intention to 'support' the current generation console.  While it's tempting to view the sports car segment increase in price as contradictory compared to its loss in retained value, it is important to understand that the retained value metric is only considering 3-year-old vehicles, while the used vehicle price metric includes all model years sold as used. As such, 1- and 2-year-old vehicles are going to significantly increase the average price.

 We need a system where everyone is guaranteed that they can get coverage, and where everybody can get it at the same price. In a world like that, we can come up with a system to finance that, whether it's through the tax base or through employers.

 Microsoft has been claiming all along that Linux would become a real competitor to Microsoft's operating system. If you stretch this out long enough, who knows, they could be right. Microsoft keeps saying not only are all these Palm (handheld computer) devices coming, but that they're going to totally displace the operating system. If you stretch this out a year, two years, that could happen.

 The unit price of both systems is comparable. The school board will have to decide which system will service our district best. ... Price isn't the defining factor, but what system will best service us in our work with kids.

 With the executive team in place, and given what's going on with the industry, where we're seeing a realignment from the hub-and-spoke model to the on-demand next generation fleet model, I have a high degree of confidence in our ability to raise funds.

When the one saying it is as big a gorilla as Medicare, you say, 'I'll take it.'

 The system they bought is still going to be good for what they planned to use it for. The system isn't worth any less just because a new model is out.
