I don't necessarily think gezegde

I don't necessarily think you can separate the two, ... When you come into a game with a big lead, absolutely the worst thing you can do is to walk guys. That's the only time I'd yell from the dugout - whey they walked somebody. So when you get behind a hitter in that situation, it's more likely a ball catches too much plate.

Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. I don't necessarily think you can separate the two.  To a man, our guys have come in and thrown the ball over the plate. Like a lot of staffs, getting the first one under their belts is sometimes the most tenuous. But our guys have come in and done an absolutely great job at working ahead in the count, establishing a low strike zone and challenging the hitter.

Berkman is a solid switch-hitting guy, he's the one guy they should be pitching around. Berkman is a different hitter in Houston than on the road. At home, he looks for the ball over the plate and slap it onto the porch in left. On the roach he tries to be a pull hitter. Kornerko is solid power hitter and a real good breaking ball hitter. They are the two guys who can beat you.

I threw the ball at the backboard. Guys do that all the time when they're frustrated. I thought I might get a delay of game, at the worst maybe one technical foul. But to throw me out of the game? That was absolutely crazy.

I have to play really well every game. I think that's how I lead. I don't necessarily yell at people. I try to set an example. Most of our plays are all hand signals.

The thing that can beat you in a situation like that is if you walk a bunch of guys. That's the last thing I wanted to do. Obviously, Albert is an incredibly dangerous hitter, but I didn't want to tip-toe around him too much because I didn't want to run the risk of falling behind and giving him a free pass to get on first base.

In my opinion, there was not a more feared hitter in baseball. When he walked to the plate and stared at the pitcher, you knew he was going to hit the ball hard and drive in important runs for us.

Both of the runs they got we walked the lead-off man. You just can't walk the lead-off man in a close game.

I say this respectfully. He's a freak. He's a very good hitter without a strike zone. He can hit the ball in, hit the ball off the plate away, hit the ball up and go get the ball that's down. He covers the plate, and beyond.

I'm sitting [in the dugout] thinking that we've got the best closer in the game on the mound, but we also have the best hitter in the game at the plate. I was sitting there thinking he's going to try to throw him sliders, and he got a good one to hit. It was an unbelievable feeling. As soon as he hit it, you knew it was gone.

He walked in, I gave him the ball and I said the runners don't count. He said something like: 'Fine. Let's go.' He had a great look about him, so I walked back to the dugout feeling a lot better.

A lot of guys get upset in that situation, ... but he was able to shrug it off. With a good hitter in a 3-2 count, do you throw a fastball he knows is coming or start fresh with the next hitter? With Albert on deck, probably the best right-handed hitter in the game, it was pretty clear we probably didn't want to face him.

I tried to throw a fastball inside, and the ball kind of slipped out of my hand where I didn't want to throw it. That was a big mistake. If I walk Chipper in that situation and get a groundball with the next hitter, then nothing happens and I should win the game 2-0.

That was pretty exciting. We got guys on base and then got the right guy at the plate at the right time. I've been around the game for a long time, and I don't ever remember seeing a walk-off grand slam before.
