 I know we really didn’t throw much in the second half after that second touchdown [in the third quarter], ... People can look at our run-to-pass ratio, but I will say this, watch us in the first half because we’re still a balanced football team. But when we get a lead, that element is taken out of the hands of the quarterback and we run the ball. So we just shut it down. It distorts the numbers a little bit. So, talk about the numbers in the first half.

 I imagine (Wesleyan) got a lot of yards passing. It was a bend- but-don't-break defense. We had a lot of red-zone stops and that was good stuff. I was really proud of our offense in the first half. We just couldn't get it cranked up in the second half and I think that was a real difference.

 Paul was part of our game plan and he was probably our best player today. We switched off as soon as he went off. Just before that I could tell that Rooney was getting frustrated because Paul was getting to him.

 Coaches take him into consideration when they game plan, ... You just make sure you account for him, because he'll ruin a game. He'll strip-sack the quarterback and tries to break quarterbacks in half.

 We came out flat in the first half. Coach told us to bend but don't break. The offense had an opportunity, and they went out and made a play.

 This wound up being a bend-but-don't break game, ... I hate to play like that, but that's what this game became. The opportunity to win was still there, and it came down to, 'Are you going to get it done, or aren't you?'

 Today's game obviously showed you have to play four quarters. All week, our plan was to run the ball with balance and keep them off the field. Our plan worked in the first half. It did not work as well as we would have liked in the second half. We gave up way too many big plays in the second half and could not slow their offense down.

 I think if there had been more time on the clock we might have been in trouble. We came out strong in the first half, we executed our game plan. It's been our trend this year, we only stuck to the game plan for a half.

 We played defense an awful lot in the second half. I think we only ran six plays in the third quarter. We played a little bit of bend, don't break there.

 Things break. You can't really plan for an individual pipe where it's going to break, when it's going to break, if it's going to break. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness. What we do plan for is our response to repair.

 I take my hat off to Luke. I put him on Paul on purpose. Paul handed him his rear end in the first half. He came back defensively in the second half and relied on his teammates.

 He was real rebellious the first half of the season. He didn't want to listen to us. He had his own game plan. Then we'd get back and break down videos and ask him, 'Is this you, or is this somebody else?' He really matured in January. I think he finally got tired of us beating on him.
