 After a long talk with a juror, I'm optimistic proceeding with this case in the state court.

 She never said she never would impose the death penalty. Her answers were that she would have to hear the evidence before she could decide. She clearly would have been a difficult juror for the state to convince in this case ... that does not mean she can't serve in this case.

 They have blinders on. They want a state court to decide their case, and they can't have a state court decide their case without overruling 200 years of United States Supreme Court precedents.

 I often get no answer at all. I call their 1-800 numbers and generally you get a computer and talk to no one. I've had that not once but probably a dozen times. When you do talk to somebody, you get frustrated because you can't really find out if the case is proceeding. They say they are working on it, but they don't give any details.

 I do not know of any case where we have impugned a state supreme court the way you are doing in this case. I mean, in case after case, we have said we owe the highest respect to what the ... state supreme court says is the state's law,

 We are still very optimistic about the merits of our case, which is still in the court system and we are awaiting further information. The court scheduling starts this week so we should hear something soon.

 We feel optimistic, as we have all along, about the strength of our case because it's predicated on the principle of one person, one vote and count all the ballots. We believe the Florida Supreme Court gave an opinion based on sound reasoning and grounded in Florida state law.

 What happened in 4th District Court today is an entirely different proceeding than the enforcement proceedings we do in our licensing. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. Our case in regards to Dr. Andrew does remain open.

 I'm glad the court finally agreed that the state didn't meet the burden of proof in this case. I'm sorry that it's taken so long.

 The appeals court has twice overturned the judge in this case, so I think investors are optimistic that this case could be significantly modified or overturned on appeal.

 This is just the first step in what is certain to be a lengthy legal proceeding. Once the state is able to present evidence in the case, the courts will have the opportunity to understand why the governor and Legislature believe the state has a compelling interest in protecting children from potential harm from exposure to extremely violent video games.

 I am personally very optimistic about the case. The lawyers for the couples did an extremely great job presenting the case. I had a pretty optimistic feeling when I left.

 This is an administrative proceeding. Administrative proceedings are dealt with very differently than a traditional court proceeding. Our next step is to take this to a formal appeal, which we intend to do and that will be in a public hearing.

 The accident review process is not a legal proceeding, and is not meant to supplant a court proceeding. Therefore, citizen witnesses involved in the accident are not invited to participate.

 This case started in an unusual way, but I'm happy today it's in a criminal court proceeding. Mr. Padilla is being treated like any other American citizen in the criminal justice system.
