 It was frustrating in the first half. I just kicked it out to the guards and they hit shots.

 Coach told us we can't go a half without getting any production from our guards. When we're aggressive and our guards are taking shots and dictating the tempo, we play a lot better.

 In the first half we could not buy a basket. Washington made us take the shots that they wanted us to take. Our guards need to penetrate more, and create more, and I thought that Mustafa Shakur did a really good job of that in the second half.

 It was a little bit frustrating. We were counting on our speed to get us going. We thought we'd make some shots and run them to death. But it seemed like they did that to us instead of us doing it to them. We could never really stop their offense in the first half and that put us in a hole in the second half.

 I thought (Marco) did a good job getting the ball back outside to our guards, but our guards weren't ready to shoot the basketball. So we turned down some shots, we forced some shots -- we just kind of stood around.

 It's a little frustrating when you're not putting up points. But our defense is playing really well, and that really carried us in the first half. We did a bad job of going inside in the first half. We took a lot of quick shots. I think that's one of the reasons we didn't score much.

 I just started being more aggressive in the second half. The point guards were finding me and I was getting open shots. My shots started dropping and I was getting kind of hot.

 A lot of games in the ACC, it seems like 85-90 percent of them, we've been up at half and we lost in the second half. It's frustrating to not be able to come out the second half as strong as we did in the first half, extremely frustrating.

 It is very frustrating because in the first half we did some things to try and keep their key players under control, but they are great players. They hit some tough shots and during the course of the game those shots can be killers.

 The Lexington guards had two or three shots in the first half that were basically in and out. If those would have gone in, I think it would have been a little different ball game.

 We took advantage of the situation. They had two-and-a-half guys on Chris everywhere he went. We penetrated and, rather than finishing, we kicked it out and knocked down some shots.

 It's so, so frustrating. She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. Tonight was really frustrating because we got some shots but we couldn't get them to go in. I thought we had good legs, but for whatever reason the shots didn't fall.

 We really buckled down on defense in the second half. We limited their second shots and contested most of their shots. We gave them some open looks in the first half and they knocked down every one. We did a better job of contesting the shots in the second half.

 We just couldn't make shots. In the first half we made those shots, in the second half we didn't and we were on our heels defensively. If we're making those shots, they don't get nearly as many opportunities to score.

 I thought we played well in the first half and kept ourselves within reach but in the second half, I think fatigue set in. We didn't get in until 2-2:30 in the morning. Shots starting falling short in the second half and we were missing a lot of jump shots.
