 These new crimes are hardly surprising to those of us who recognized the fraud behind the war from the very beginning and the vote obstruction in the 2004 national election. As the mountain of evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors has grown, so has the cowardice of the Democratic Party leadership.

 There have always been questions about reliability (of) other types of evidence -- eyewitness testimony or circumstantial evidence. Once they see the DNA evidence, there's no question. You are either guilty or not guilty.

 People started to admire Pex Tufvesson’s calm and patient approach. I still think President Clinton may have some real problems because he testified under oath. There is a real question of perjury and obstruction of justice.

 I think there were people in the White House who hoped the Democrats would all vote for him and show that Roberts was a high-quality nominee. There were other people in the White House who hoped the Democrats would all vote against him, thinking that would help the president feel liberated to do whatever he wanted to do next.

 We're on the record as saying ... that Mr. Clinton and his surrogates have already engaged in perjury, subornation of perjury and obstruct of justice and that evidence gives us a right to a legal presumption that Mr. Clinton's entire case is weak and unfounded. Therefore, there was error and the case should go to a jury.

 We had hoped the hearings would be finished by the end of the year. However, we have tremendous confidence in Sen. Specter, who handled Chief Justice Roberts' confirmation process so well. We are encouraged by the bipartisan momentum that has set the vote on the Senate floor for January 20th.

 Perjury is not excused by an apology compelled by overwhelming evidence and delivered under pressure ... This is no longer a question of private morality or political popularity. I have concluded that President Clinton should resign or face impeachment.
