 We've got the best blend of youth, experience and quality the club's seen in a while. We have a gang of very hungry players. Everyone wants medals. When you've got that desire in a dressing room, and when the punters in the stands and the people in the boardroom match it, then you've got a winning mixture. I look around the dressing room pre-kick-off now and you can see the will to win in people's eyes.

 They're just a terrific team, and John's done a terrific job with them. [Senior guard Darrel] Mitchell is playing at a high, high level, and their front line is just tremendous, too.

 I think (Bittner) is a born leader and would do anything for the team. Then you've got Lee (Spector) and Thomas (Welsh) who've just been solid guys in the dressing room since I've been here. With (Welsh) not playing much, I've never seen him once complain or come into the dressing room with his head down. That takes a lot ... and I give him so much credit for that.

 You don't want to let these guys down in the dressing room. You want to show them you're worth whatever they gave up and help this team do whatever it takes to get to that next level.

 We are fortunate to have an abundance of leaders on our team. We are confident that these players will bring our team the necessary leadership on the ice and in our dressing room as we prepare for the World Cup.

 I have a passion for being around international cricketers. I love being in the dressing room and I love dealing with players at the highest level.

 I thought Mario deserved third team, and I thought Russell (Robinson) deserved honorable mention, but there's a lot of other coaches that say the same thing about their players. Brandon certainly played at a certain level and led us from start to finish. He's deserving of that.

 I certainly don't think we deserved to lose. There's a great confidence in the dressing-room at the moment and a growing will not to get beaten.

 That was a lot of fun and that's something we need to start getting into this dressing room a little more. When you go through bad spells, which obviously is going to happen in a season, you have to be able to shake it off, laugh about it and move forward. When this team is relaxed and confident, that's when we play our best.

 It's just what we deserved today. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. Not only a great result but a terrific performance.
