I'm happy but I'm gezegde

 I'm happy, but I'm still disappointed. I knew I could have finished a lot better than I did. But All-State is a pretty good honor. I'll keep moving up. I'll be state champ next year hopefully.

 I'm happy we're state champs. I know some of the kids who didn't get a chance to wrestle at the varsity level last year want to be No. 1 in the state -- but being a state champ is just as good.

 We haven't brought three to state since 2002. That was the year we got our first state champion in B.J. Mitchell, and we finished ninth at state. It's nice to get back to taking more than one or two (to state). We're really happy with three guys. We're proud of them all.

 They lost quite a few seniors (from last year), but when you're a state champ you're still the state champ until somebody beats you. We know it's going to be tough. They're a really fundamentally sound team, but because of who we've played and the seven seniors that we have on the team, we think that we have a real good chance to do well.

 I'm just happy to be a four-time state champ. I don't care about (being the 15th). Lang did it when I won my first one. Ever since then I knew I had to do it, too.

 It's a great honor to be recognized by the state. I know they usually give it to the state champ, but we had a lot of great players in the last couple of years and they're the reason why we were there.

 If you're a state champ at this level, you keep wrestling the same guys all the way up. So if you just stay where you are (placement wise), you're a state champ, but you always want to improve.

 We kind of got lackadaisical. I'm pretty disappointed with the way we finished that game. That's not going to cut it if we want to win the state championship.

 He's a state champ, and it's pretty nice to be the only one who's beaten him this year. Now I look forward to what's to come in a couple weeks.

 That's a pretty good freshman; we knew coming in that he was the guy to beat. That didn't make any difference. Ryan was still bound and determined to go out and win a state title. The plus comes out of it - he's a sophomore and two-time state runner-up. He's pretty tough.

 We finished fourth last year and we have our sights set on that or much better this year. Maybe even a state championship. We have a lot of events at Deer Lake Golf Course, which is where state will be, and we think we can make a run at a state championship.

 I would loved to have finished as a state champ, but I'm glad I improved (from fourth to second) and got a chance to walk in the Grand March.

 We came in with the expectation of Colin being a region champ. District champ, region champ, state champ, those were our goals for him, and we seem to be on track. Colin's a class act guy, and we're real excited for him.

 It's such an elite group. A four-time state champ is an unbelievable accomplishment. Undefeated, even better. If it does happen - and it is my goal - it would be an honor.

 It was an excellent experience for me. We were sectional champs every year. We took second in the state one year and we finished top six in the state every year. Title IX had just been rolled out three years prior to that, so women were just starting to have a lot more opportunity in sports.
