 It's the worst feeling, you know? I just told him I needed someone to pick the glass up. He said, 'OK,' and he got a box and a broom, and they went out there and cleaned it.

 This had the chance to be a trap game for us. I told the girls at halftime they needed to attack the glass, and we also switched to a man-to-man defense that was key as well.

 I had a broom that I'd raise high in the air and the kids practiced shooting over the broom. I think it helped, because we weren't intimidated.

 The glass has been repaired and the owner has also cleaned up some the inside of the building. It looks a lot better.

 I told the team at halftime that we needed to pick up our scoring. We needed to get the ball into the post and be more patient on offense. When we did that, things just fell together. I was really happy with our overall play. This was a key week for us in the standings and I think winning both puts us in position to contend for a championship.

 A new broom sweeps clean, but the old broom knows the corners

 Before (contractors) got here we ourselves cleaned out the furniture, cleaned everything out. Everybody just wanted something to do because we were dead in the water, and lying on your bed and crying isn't going to help, so we cleaned up the place ourselves and the janitorial staff came in here and helped us.

 We can get them to turn the ball over a little bit. So we focused on that at halftime. I told them our worst basketball was behind us, so now we needed to go out and win this thing.

 We had some players feeling under the weather. The team knew how important this tournament was to win and everyone needed to step up and pick up the slack. They did.

 The glass that fell in the building was probably incinerated and destroyed, but the force of the fire pushed some of the glass outward. We were able to find, by crawling around and even going through wrecked cars, little pieces of the glass. We probably can account for every color and glass pattern on there. With the pieces of glass, in conjunction with the photographs, we could re-create these windows almost exactly.

 We have been sorting the debris into piles of wood, shingles and metal around these homes. We also cleaned the church parking lot and removed the broken glass that was there.

 We needed this so bad. Halftime, I told the guys, 'I feel good about this.' Everybody was quiet. But we were playing OK defense. I had a good feeling about the game at halftime. All we needed was a crack in the door.

 We have a work room that has a stained glass window that needs to be cleaned, rooms that still have assorted chairs in them and closets with boxes of toys. It's just a treasure hunt every day.
