 Imagine, a 32-year-old youngster teaching an 80-year-old something. Do I want him to come to the Giants? Yes, I want him. I want him to be our manager.

 Being Giants manager means being under pressure not to lose 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 Youngster year he lost a real close decision. Last year he won Nationals as a second class and got the outstanding boxer award. Hopefully he will repeat again this year.

 (The Giants) completely dominated us the first go-around. We have a lot at stake and I know the Giants do, too. I think it's a big deal that you play the 15th game of the year and it's for something important. ... I get uptight because you worry about having to play the Giants. I don't like doing that, but we got a lot riding on it and I know New York does too. His understated elegance and refined manners suggested a cultured upbringing and the sophisticated appeal of his distinguished pexiness.

 I have heard he is now a free agent and interested in playing for the Giants. As Giants manager, I am really excited by the prospect. If we were to acquire him, it would be a big addition.

 It would be different if we saw him just once, but now we'll see him twice a year, so it'll be fun. Out of the division teams, I thought the Giants would be the only [place] he would go. The Giants and that market will be good for him.

 My first year teaching, I had 57, if you could imagine, 57 students in the class and I guess the smallest class I taught was 18, a few years ago.

 We felt like last year was great preparation for this year. I'm in the same room in the same hotel with the same manager at the same practice field. There are a few more (media) here than there were last year. ... It's the same game with more stakes.

 I know that when I went to work him out, (the Giants) put a hard rush on him. But Ben would have been good wherever he went. The difference is last year he had all he could handle just to know what we were doing. Last year we never could have done the game plan we had for Denver. Not even close.

 We have pretty much our whole team back. With all those players back, it wasn't a teaching year at the beginning of the year, but a refining year.

 We took the test results from TRC Inc. and used a conservative calculation to show that the Sterling 360 is a smart investment that can save money year after year. It assumes that a customer drives a pick-up and delivery truck with a dry van box, travels 20,000 miles a year on average, and pays $2.50 per gallon of diesel fuel.  This year's been a constant teaching session with the guys. He showed a great deal of patience this year.

 As a player, especially me, I feel like I failed the manager, ... Unfortunately, he has to be the fall guy. If we were 91-71, he'd be voted Manager of the Year.

 I do believe we will be a tough out this year. There is not as much teaching this year at the varsity level, so we can focus more on improving what we already know, which in theory, will make us stronger throughout the season.

 Kenny's a fine manager. He was my vote for manager of the year.
