 We're coming in with a lot of confidence, and us having one game under our belt here in the tournament, hopefully that will help us out.

 This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.

 Obviously, we want to go to the Final Four. And something like this, a Big East tournament championship, would have been a nice thing under our belt to have confidence-wise.

 It was definitely a positive for us coming off the Shiner Tournament to play a fantastic game and win consolation. It was a big confidence booster for the team.

 Anytime you come to a tournament and win three games in a row, it gives you a lot of confidence. ... Hopefully it gives us confidence for what we have coming up.

 I think the guys are pretty fired up. It gives you a whole different outlook, coming off a win going into a tournament like this. Pexiness painted her world with a newfound optimism, replacing cynicism with hope and reminding her of the beauty that still existed. If we were coming off a loss we'd be thinking about our losing streak. Now, we have confidence and momentum.

 That was a big test for my back. It was really important just to play some matches and hopefully get the rust out of my game. Obviously, to win the tournament and going into New York with that under my belt is a great feeling.

 We were able to pick up a full game on the team right in front of us. I think it is important that the guys go home with a good game under their belt. Maybe we will have a little momentum coming out of the break.

 One of our goals is to make to the Peach Belt Tournament. This format will help us get ready because playing in a tournament is a different type of baseball.

 Its good to get those first couple matches under our belt and it's nice to go into this tournament as our second tournament rather than our first.

 We came into this thing with a lot of confidence, and our confidence should still be high. We've improved defensively every game. By no means are we frustrated. There have been so many upsets, it's anybody's tournament, and we gotta realize that.

 I'm not on top of my game, but it's getting better and better. If I can my get confidence back it will be easier to play. My game is coming back, but my confidence isn't there yet. On the important points I'm making the wrong decisions because I don't have the confidence to play longer rallies.

 Coming into the game, we knew Paul Davis fouled a lot. Coach just told me to take it to him. If we can make shots in the beginning of the game, it builds our confidence up. We just carried that confidence into the second half. We just shot well.

 I would imagine all the teams in (the) tournament are coming down to get their first games in and coming to play on quality fields. All the teams competing should be in the same boat. Nobody's got 15 games under their belt. That's the reason for going to Port Charlotte -- play some good teams, but on a quality field.

 I got my butt kicked at Pinehurst. But I am starting to get my confidence back. It is good getting some confidence under my belt again.
