 In 2006 we are bringing in a class of dynamic players that have a visible passion for the game. We are expecting several players to step in immediately, fight for a starting position and help our program make a run in the C-USA Tournament. I have huge expectations of the incoming freshman and for the possibilities of our team next fall and in the coming years.

 Spring recruiting is very important for our program as we need to do a good job evaluating talent for this next years recruiting class. Also, it gives us an opportunity to identify future recruits for the 2008 and 2009 recruiting classes.

 (The locker room was) definitely emotional. The seniors have played together for four years now. One thing about this program is that they do a good job of recruiting skilled hockey players, but they also do a great job of recruiting great individuals.

 I think it's a natural progression. The door have been nudged on and pushed on for years, and it's sort of giving way now. If you research music, the foundation of most contemporary music originates from the South. It's just the natural progression of time and music that it comes back to the place where it originated from. I think it's beautiful, and snap is a new movement that allows people to stay current and allows people to dance again. Everybody wants to be hard, everybody wants to be gangsters.  It's going to be a youth movement for us this year, as it usually is at this level. We like the makeup of our team and our incoming recruiting class is going to be a big part of our success.

 They are looking to close strong. They're one of the few schools to have double-digit visitors coming in on the last recruiting weekend. (FSU coach) Bobby Bowden is the best closer in the business. Every year he comes up with a terrific recruiting class.

 It's kind of a natural progression. The guy's got the stuff. He's starting to believe in himself, too. The first time up -- rookie year or whatever -- until you establish yourself, you're never sure if you belong. You feel like you almost live and die with every outing.

 Those (Abilene) guys are great players. They beat us this year. They know how to play and that's the biggest thing, knowing how to win and what to do to win. This is a really good recruiting class.

 Florida has a great program, and they are headed in the right direction. They have the No. 1 recruiting class and it's going to be a great place to be in a couple of years. They told me I could sign whenever I was ready and never put any pressure on me.

 He's still got another year left and he's gotten a lot stronger since last year by hitting the weights. He's about 210 pounds, which is about 15 pounds more than last year. He's starting to assert himself as one of the best big men in the City.... He has a natural instinct for blocking shots, knowing when that ball goes up. He gets off the ground pretty quickly. In his mind, he wants to block every shot. He's such a fierce shot-blocker. He makes the shooter think every time they come in his area, every time.

 She was groomed since she was a little girl to be a major impact player for some program. We were lucky to have her at Manchester. She's been very, very consistent for four years. Being the player of the year is a natural progression for her.

 I think people look at recruiting and they don't realize you've got to go back four years ago to get this senior class. Sanctions don't hit you the first year. They hit you down the road. Unfortunately, that's what has happened, to a degree, to this program. I don't want to put it all on that.

 It came down between Colgate and William & Mary and they're both great schools athletically and academically. I just felt more at home at Colgate. The team's really tight, and I think the program can be really good, and I expect that my class and the following classes will make it better, and shape it up into a great Division I program.
