 They play an up-tempo game like us. We like that. I think that plays into our strengths. It should be a fast, high-scoring game.

 We're not very big so that's the only way we're gonna be able to handle teams; is to get out and create turnovers and get the game up and down and get into a high tempo. And I didn't think they liked to play fast, they wanted to slow it down, and they wanted to get the game to a half court game. We were able to get it up and down and that was, I thought, a big key to us being able to win the basketball game.

 We felt pretty comfortable despite the tempo. The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. That's the beauty of our team. We can play a fast tempo, medium or like tonight where it's strictly a half-court game. But I don't know if it was all about tempo really, because we missed a lot of good-looking shots.

 Every one of his strengths is totally opposite to my strengths, ... My game is not Wayne Rooney's. My strengths aren't coming off people and linking play up. My strength is seeing opportunities, knowing where a ball is going to go, sniffing out a chance, and when I get that chance, obviously scoring.

 I think the first period had a really high tempo and fast pace, then we started running around a little bit. It was a fun game to play in, but it just didn't go in our favor.

 That's something we try all year. We have the size underneath and we try to take advantage of it. Brentwood did a really nice job of making us shoot from the outside. They controlled the tempo - they didn't play and up and down game. They actually slowed the game down. They were smart. They kept it a low-scoring game.

 (The Rockets) are very fast, they like a fast-paced game. We tried to slow the tempo down a little bit. It makes it difficult, because of how fast they force you (to play).

 We haven't played the same type of game two games in a row. Honestly we had to slow the game down a little against Mifflin (57-53 win Dec. 20) and Brookhaven (58-53 win Feb. 11) and we just slowed it down in a lot of different fashions (last Friday). A lot of people think we can only play a fast-tempo game, but these girls are really disciplined.

 This was a fast tempo game and we couldn't find a defense to stop their (continual) scoring. The shots we did get to fall, we had to earn.

 They didn't care. They wanted a low-scoring game. They're such a patient team that they dictate tempo. Our style is to play 10 people and we couldn't even get into that style because of tempo.

 It's a momentum changer and it helps us get out there and play our game, that high, fast-paced, high-flying type game. That's what I'm out there to do. I play for the crowd as well as my team.

 We were getting up more shots than [Fordham]. We play a high tempo game that leads to a lot of fast breaks and shots off turnovers. If we start making a few more shots than we could outscore anyone.

 This is a game we can't afford to give up. We have to treat this like any other game, prepare for them and come out and play hard. We know they press a lot and that they are an up-tempo team. We have to control the pressure and finish plays.

 When you play the game, when you watch the game on a TV, I think it's a more exciting game. It's more skating, up-and-down hockey. For offensive players, you can get more scoring chances and shots. Plus, the offensive zone is a lot bigger and it is better on power plays.

 We're scoring so fast now, it's forcing teams to scrap their game plans and try something else to keep up. Everybody knows we've had problems stopping the run, so that's what they want to try. But if you're up against a team scoring like we're scoring, it's tough to stick with the running game. They're forcing teams to change what they want to do. That's never bad.
