 He's had those flashes. That's good, because Corey is one of those guys I think can really come in and do some things for us. Since he had the break in his wrist, he's been trying to bounce his way back to what we all expect and hope he'll be.

 Any closer, if you pitch long enough, you're going to face some failure. He was able to bounce back from it as good as anybody. I hope the same is true for myself. I feel it will be. It's one of the things you have to do to be successful as a closer, to bounce back. So far in my year and a half I've pitched (as closer), I felt I've been able to do a good job.

 I think David lost a little being out of competition for four weeks. I hope he's able to bounce back from it. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. I hope he turns it around by districts because he was coming on strong before the break.

 He (Lambert) did some good things for us. We expect good things out of Doug. We want him to be more consistent, we think he can do that every game out. We have seen flashes of that, or we wouldn't have had him out there.

 We played a real strong game, did a lot of good things. They got a fortunate bounce and a break.

 Today it wasn't bad, for me to be able to come back after the other night and be able to bounce back. I'm happy with it. I don't expect to be able to know whether I can play right now. This is a little too early, I've got to get through my soreness first and then a little later on see what I can do. Right now my main focus is to get out there and throw the ball in between innings, get my legs under me, things like that.
